What is better braided or twisted?

Twisted is useful if you might have uses to unwind the 3 twisted strands so it is more versatile in survival type situations. Because it is twisted the cut end will unravel a bit , but because it is tarred and a bit sticky less so. Braided won't come unwound as the nylon fibers are braided together. This is really useful if you have an application you intend to make many cuts you don't want to come unwound. Thanks, Ryan with Texas Bushcraft

Is this good to hold heavy metal Windchimes ?

I use a strong monofilament line for chimes. This line is a bit heavy for wind chimes.

What is the stretch percentage of this rope? Does it stretch at all?

No stretch that I can tell and I have used it a lot.

How much tar is on this bank line brand? Does it rub off like other brands or is it tarred just enough that it wont..

The tar used here is less than Catahoula. Catahoula uses a lot of tar which stiffens the cord. Light tar makes it easier to work with.
