Best Pole I've ever used
Terrific product. Easy to adjust when cleaning pools. As a professional I look for reliable products that are durable and easy-to-use. I can adjust the pole from collapsed to fully extended in less than three seconds without ever overextending it. It fits well in my 8-foot bed without any issues. It holds up well under weight and can pull out a net full of leaves with no strain. It's sturdy, practical, and overall incredible. The best pole I've used hands down.

Worth every penny
OK, I sucked it up and bought the pole. I had bought the skimming net several years ago and that particular net is still going strong. I went ahead and got the bigger net as well. It has a new design that will allow for the net to be removed from the frame and replaced. I like it but this review is about the pole. I have tried many other poles including the one with the lever that you flip to adjust the pole length. That design still ends up with a slipping pole when you apply pressure to the brush/scrub pool surface. This design is awesome. It doesn't matter how much pressure I apply it does not move. It is solid. Only gripe I would say is the weight. Quality comes with some extra heft. I assume this will last me forever! I know the price may scare you, but it will pay for itself after the first use and you realize no more frustration with the other designs especially when you are using it or adjusting the length. Good luck.

Heavy duty, easy replacement, great people to work with.
This is the greatest product and company of all time. I bought this pole over 3 years ago. It’s pricy but worth it. I have heavy pool floor equipment and a 10 foot deep end. The pole is fantastic! It can take the weight and keep going. Over 3 years my red connector stopped working. Through a simple replacement system, I got a new one. Easy to work with. Professional. Good people!

Telescoping pool pole is worth the money!
I am a seasoned Pro Tuff fan due to the many years I have used their pool nets. The silt net is my absolute favorite when it comes time to clean up the grass clippings after mowing the yard. Their durability is phenomenal. They keep working even when they look worn out and rugged. And then ... their warranty is above and beyond the best! I've had my eye on the telescoping pool pole for some time but I couldn't justify the price until they offered the "tariff discount". I went ahead and splurged and am soooo glad I did. It's a bit heavier than the 14' steel pole I was using, but that just seems to make it work harder and clean the pool better. Being able to change the length with the push of a button is amazing! Thank you Pro Tuff!

If you need a strong telescoping pole, hit buy now!
I own the ProTuff 16 foot telescoping model. It consists of two aluminium fluted poles. The interior pole is reinforced by the locking mechanism track inlaid through the length of action. The locking collar is a 2 button slide and lock style ring. The outer cover for the locking mechanism is made of a composite or plastic material. The pole seems powder coated, is is fluted for strength and rigidity, also heavier Guage (thicker wall) than most pool poles. The ProTuff is sturdy even if fully extenand the locking Appears to be powder coated. It is a professional level piece of gear. The ROI is good but the price is higher than most or all others I found. But since over the last several year I have gone thru 3 poles that were marketed as strong... wrong...was a closer descriptioion. The ProTuff pole IS the quality that a professional or home user would be looking for when Ll others have failed them.. once a person uses it they are satisfied in the cost.Cost to Benefit breakdown1. Pole is made of thick Guage aluminum, having 2 x 8 foot sections with the locking collar in the middle connection. It can be heavy and cumbersome to use or some si ce it's heavy on its own not counting any accessories. It has a ne icnce the normal operation does not allow the poles to pull apart. But the height from deck upward can be a pain if working in tight spaces.I only have 2 issues: one is the amount of bow in the pole when under a heavyload. Whe you have a heavier load and the basket is full the pole can flex enough to be noticed. But the llo ing collar should be me of solid andMilled stock like the broom adapter is. The pro tuff pole is for certain the strongest I have had or even seen in 30+ years. It can be a challenge picking out the best for the application and knowing what is best for the money all that other stuff.... This pole is what you need and have been looking for....stop looking. Buy it now and see for yourself... if you are not satisfied by the ProTuff Pole, maybe pool cleaning is not your call in life. :)
