Hot water is great. Cool water is cool, not chilled which is normal with these kinds of units.Cools water by running cold water instead of relying on a loud compressor. At first I was shocked that it wastes like a gallon or two of water just to re-cool after dispensing a cup. But I realized that it doesn't use anywhere as much electricity to power a loud compressor so it's worth the trade off for me.Requires a drain line which is very easy for any level of DIY. This allows hot cycles to clean itself and drain the waste.Only suggestion from me is the hard to push buttons because lack of depth. My young kids and senior family members can't hold down the cool or hot buttons continuously. The second you let up, you'll need to push hot first again then dispense for example.

Had it professionally installed by a company, so I can't say it was easy to install, but the guys that did install it said it was pretty straight forward. The unit easy to use and maintain. The fan on the back is on most of the time, or until you use the cold water, but it's not too loud or annoying. I love the form factor, having it be tall accommodates for big water bottles and it's thin so it takes less space on the counter which is always good. The light is adjustable so you can dim it or turn it off it bothers you. I personally think that the water doesn't get too hot or too cold. For me, I think that the cold water gets the job done, but I definitely wish that the hot water was a little hotter. If there was a way to make it adjustable then that would be even better.Only real problem that I have is with the buttons on the touch pad. They are very insensitive, so I find myself pressing down unnecessarily hard and re-adjusting where my finger is on the button constantly just to make sure the water keeps flowing. I don't have small fingers, but if my finger starts to relax, even if just slightly, the pouring will stop and quickly restart after I re-apply more pressure. This can happen multiple times in a span of seconds which is noisy and annoying while refilling large water bottles.Overall, it's a great product and I have been enjoying it. I don't think the problems are exactly deal breakers, and if they made an updated version with just better buttons and water temperature control, I would give them my money again without thinking it twice.

Unit arrived defective. Dispenses Hot AND Cold water at the same time making this useless. On top of that it has an cooling system overheating issue, and it wastes more water from the drain than it dispensed.Unit Returned and now looking for a different optionUpdate: seller refunded only $192.35 out ofAbout $268 of the purchase price for a defective unit. Why am I being punished for their defective product.Do not do business with them. They won't refund all your money.Unacceptable.

This is an amazing product that produced clean and cold water from day 1. This has improved my quality of life. The device is the perfect size, very light. The temperature of the water is exactly what i need when i need it. It is quiet and well built. They test all devices before they send it to you. The purus team is very responsive and will guide you through the installation. Great value for the money and outcompetes anything else I've tried.I normally don't write reviews, but this product and company deserves all the hype!!

Thus system is amazing. The hot water is good and consistent. The cold is the perfect temp. We have used it here at work for over a year and nothing but good to say about it. The company is amazing to work with. Dean is very responsive. Filter works great and makes the water taste much better. Can't say enough good things about this product.
