this filter was purchased for my sons car. He is not into maintenance too much so when I replace the one in my wife's car i replace his. The baking soda helps with inside car smells. It definitely worked on my sons car. the change our process is real simple for the 2015 Mazda 3 cabin air filter. open the glove box, pull the holding wire off the right side pin, take out all the contents of the glove box otherwise its on the floor. let box fully open and pull off the hing pins on the rear of the box. your looking inside the cavity look for filter holding tab pull it to release it, then it comes out. i spray odo ban in the cavity and wipe it dry, slip in the new filter and the reverse the removal instruction to reassemble. The product is a s pictured and FRAM is quality company. once a year change out is good enough, and cheaper than $70.00 dollars to do it at the dealer. once you do it you will see how easy it is to accomplish.

I feel so stupid. I'm 32 years old and have just been paying up the butt for mechanics to replace these things. I'm an idiot.I took my 2019 Mazda CX-5 into the dealership for it's service and they told me I needed to get the cabin A/C filter and the Engine filter replaced. They wanted to charge me $75 and $62 respectively...I was like hell. no.Turned to Amazon and wow. I got both filters I needed for $30 and it took me less than 5 minutes to install both of them. I will never again in my life have a dealer do this for me. How dumb am I?! This fit my car perfectly and worked like a charm.

Most car dealerships charge between $75 and $100 to replace the cabin air filter, a job that I learned how to do myself on youtube and can now complete in 3 minutes; if I can do it, you can too! These are high quality filters, at the very least, comparable to dealer quality. Go ahead, give it a go!

My air filter hasn't been changed for a while and the car dealership wanted to charge me triple what I paid for this filter. I said "No thank you," purchased this air filter and my brother helped me to install it. It was quick and easy. He opened the glove compartment, took out old filter and put in the new one. It took a few minutes to do. I'm sure there is a YouTube video showing you how it is done as well. Saved myself a ton of $$$$!

Fit perfectly. Easy to install. Do it yourself. The filter is in a slot behind the glove compartment in many cars. It is really easy. Search for the YouTube video for your car. For example, Google cabin filter 2013 mazda cx-5

Sizing was an exact fit complete with tabs and clip and some foam around the front edge. Thickness of the foam was about double the Mazda original part which gets in the way of where the clip is, but shaved off a little near the clip with no trouble.Fresh Breeze an extra that haven't really noticed, but got it while it was cheap and sizing was most important.

After having my stock filter clog up from 2 years of use, I didn't realize breathing was such a chore in my Mazda. I was surprised when Valvoline showed me my disgusting filter. They told me it would cost $85 to replace. I went here and couldn't have been happier at the price. It was easy to install with no major problems.

It does the job of cleaning the air, I guess, but how do you know? The charcoal is supposed to be good, but again how do you gauge this unless you have sophisticated air quality measuring devices? The average person does not, so in my ignorance, I'm happy with it. Doesn't make any sense to pay more for one.

Perfect fit as a replacement of my OEM cabin air filter. This filter is super easy to install into a Mazda3. You just squeeze in the sides of your glove compartment until it drops down. You'll see the slot where the filter sits. Remove the old one and pop in the new one. Now wasn't that easier than paying your mechanic $100 for the same thing?

Slides and locks right in, like an OEM piece. The old one was definitely on the filthy side after 27,000 km. Can't tell a whole lot of difference in terms of air quality of scent, though. But hey, human olfaction is pathetically weak, so what do I know.

Nice filter, good fit and does the job well. Adds no allergy filtering and packaging is just about paper. Box was damaged at the corners but didn’t affect the filter. Seriously the package that the filter comes in is a joke - it’s darn close to paper rather than cardboard. Otherwise excellent choice over an OEM filter.
