Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not commercial, don't waste your money. I havnt even used it two months and am having to replace the switch.

Works great...you control timer and the temp.golden waffle everytime...would highly recommend

Spent a fair amount on the waffle maker as we were looking to add waffles to our brunch menu - maybe I got a lemon, but the hinge parts are all loose, making the irons wobbly and the heating is inconsistent. We had to pull the waffles off our menu until we can find a waffle maker that puts out a consistent product. If anyone knows of a good alternative- let me know!

This is a single headed waffle iron. If you actually need a waffle iron for a restaurant, then typically you would have a double headed waffle iron. But I am using this for a small student run school café as well as in the concession stand at events. For my needs it works just fine. I assume if you are purchasing such an item, you probably already know how to use it. The video does not do a very good job. You pour batter onto the bottom… Drop down the top… And instantly flip it over so that the batter runs down into the other side. This makes a more even and fluffier waffle. It has temperature control as well as the timer. Of course this will need to be adjusted based upon the type of batter that you are using.This waffle iron is made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of just over 220 bucks I think it’s quite expensive for what it is. Depending upon your needs, there are less expensive options available. But overall I am happy with it.

Does this appliance make delicious waffles? Absolutely. It is large and looks like the ones you find in hotels with complimentary breakfasts. It is big. It is easy to use with rotary knobs for time and temperature. The non-stick finish releases food easily. The waffles are manually rotated making them even and attractive. It is fun to use at a holiday brunch or kids birthday party. What is not fun is clean up. The plates don't easily remove. I treat it like they are not removable. Iypt is cumbersone. But it coojs quickly and evenly. It can be used for other dishes including omlettes, hash browns and even zucchini parm.

Bought two. Both went up to 500 degrees and now won’t turn back on

Great waffle maker, it's like you would find at a hotel breakfast area and does a great job. Great quality and value. Reliable and durable, heats up quickly and waffles are even heated and turn out great
