Did not work as expected.
The idea is great and I wish they worked but I could not get these to make a solid connection. One would not stay latched and two others just would not keep contact unless I squeezed it tighter with my fingers.

works, but it's a bit picky
These work, but I had to be very careful clamping the hinged section down on the cut end of the LED strip. Any wiggle or pull at all, and the connection is lost. If I have to, I'll solder the contact points, but for now I'm counting on the extra adhesive I've added to hold each connector in exactly the right position so the light strip will work.
