Great little phone
This is a budget phone if its compared to the x1 or x5 it's never going to win. But it does its job well. The L4 is in the same 21:9 style as the other sony xperia phones. The screen is big and watching tv/films/entertainment, is what it's designed for. The sound isn't great its not stereo, so I would recommend head phones it does have a 3.5mm jack. Finger print scanner works 4/5 times. The screen is not the most responsive vs the high end phones but nothing that really hold you back or that I found frustrating. I do like the Sony features, I.E you can srink the screen to the bottom corner for easy one handed use and a double tap on the middle side bar brings up an adjustable settings menu. For the money I would highly recommend but just remember it is a budget phone.

Poor loud speaker/sound quality, crashing/freezing screens & poor battery life
Had e phone since October 2020. First thing I noticed was the very poor sound quality. The speaker volume maximum is not loud enough if listening to music or watching a video. The ringer is not loud enough. Many times I have missed a call or message alert because of this. The battery life is not the greatest when compared with similar priced Samsung or LG phones I have had before. The main serious issue has been recently the phone screen has been freezing, it has been getting very hot, and then the whole thing goes crazy by randomly opening up apps and even dialling contacts. This prompted me to download an antivirus software, which found no issues. Then, I deleted loads of apps, and restricted apps working in the background. But the problem was still there. The finger print reader is rubbish, it works once or twice at first then does not. Lastly, I did a full factory reset to hopefully get it to work properly. But after a few hours of activity the phone was back misbehaving. I contacted Amazon who were very helpful. They said to hold the power button for 30 seconds. This actually worked! So far so good. Pity the reset didnt improve the overall sound quality and battery life.

Lovely phone and seems durable from my needs
Bought to replace my failing Xperia XA1 Ultra, The L4 is slightly longer and the screen rolls right up to the very narrow phone frame, giving brighter clear picture. Brilliant turned 90 degrees for landscape when watching videos. I automatically buy a decent phone case to prove an extra level of protectionHas a good sound system built-in and when linked to in-car audio gives full range tones beautifully. You get a screen message around every 90 days if you haven't turned it off, to suggest a restart to clear memory of clutter and optimise the system. Slim enough to fit comfortably in most trouser pockets.I find my normal use I only get about 20-25% BATTERY DRAIN IN 24 HOURS, so can last a couple of days between charges if you need a phone with better battery life time.

Worst Purchase in a long time.
This phone is just awful. I had a Huawei previously and decided to change due to them not being so secure. I have had a Sony before and it was a good oh be, but this is so glitchy, slow, the battery doesn't last long. The keyboard keys are too close together so typing is an issue. This is likely to become my spare phone and I will end up goinf back to my Huawei.
