I bought this thinking it would be perfect for one of the numerous Yankee swaps/Secret Santas we participate in every year...Yeah no. Gonna have to keep it lest I be the A-hole who swaps my way back to my own gift. We are a household of bourbon drinkers, and this decanter is just such a beautiful docking station for our finest. It also classes up the bar, and every guest has immediately commented on how cool it looks. Unlike a lot of other globe decanters, the ship is actually a physical piece inside the sphere (rather than a simple etching on the outside), so it really is unique and impressive. Get it.

I bought this product because I didn't have any sort of whiskey decanter, and I am a lover of bourbon.This is one of those pieces that won't do justice until you actually receive it and put it in a room. As soon as I had the thing set up, it immediately added an aura of elegance to the surrounding area.It's quite exquisite, really. Highly recommended!
