This curling iron heats up quickly and has various temperature settings in Fahrenheit versus High, Medium and Low. The barrel is very long. Produces beautiful curls on my short hair. With the long barrel, one could easily make curls for long hair.

Love the size and can get that long hair in one curl. I have long hair and need an iron that takes care of that. This is the curling iron for you. The iron is great. It gets beyond hot enough - actually 350 is better for curls but this goes up at least to 425. Go hotter only if you use this more for straightening and volume.The barrel is probably bigger than you are imagining if you’ve never had a 2” before. It’s good for really long hair.The design flaw is that when you are holding it, the buttons to change the temp are right there under your hand. I kept accidentally raising the temp! I mean it was really a problem for me and the reason I took off one star. Never had that problem before with other irons. Very annoying.Otherwise it was easy enough to use did a good job.

It’s a lot bigger than I expected. And works so well! I’m super happy with this curling iron!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I can’t tell you how frustrated I am about this product. I bought it to take on a trip to Europe because of its dual voltage characteristic. I plugged it in and used it once and at that point threw the box away. The second time I plugged it in it didn’t even come on. At that point, the box is gone and apparently I have to return it in its original box. I’m making a copy of this product name and I’ll never buy anything from this company again.

Ordered the 2” curling iron.Pros: Color combination, finishes, temp control, longer barrel for long hair, good priceI really liked the longer barrel in this curling iron, it made a difference with the quality of the curls on long hair.Cons: Temp control button location, top heavyThere’s one Design flaw, the placement of the heating control buttons. Since the barrel is longer it makes the curling iron heavier which requires a tighter grip so it doesn’t fall out of your hands. The issue is that the temperature buttons end up under your palm which causes the buttons to be pushed and the temp fluctuating accordingly. I have fine hair and need the lowest temp to avoid damaging/drying my hair and found myself accidentally pushing the temp buttons up. It doesn’t take much for the curling iron to get super hot. I personally struggled with this issue and could not figure out another way to hold it where this wouldn’t happen. One other area of concern is the short cool tip at the end, it is very small and difficult to use without burning your fingers. If this tip could be a little longer it would help grab the heavier barrel and if the temp control buttons would be switched so the buttons are coser to the barrel it would make for an awesome curling iron.Unfortunately for me the Cons determined this is not the right product for my needs.

I was looking for a small curl iron. This is exactly what I wanted. It is small, easy to use, & heats up quickly.

This curler is too long of a barrel for short hair and is too heavy. It's a very food curling iron and good heat settings. I kept it and ordered a smaller curling iron. Foe normal length I would highly recommend this curler.
