Winchester Gerber Folding Knife, 7.5-Inch, Wood Handle, Fine Edge [22-01691] w/Sheath - Boxed

I was pleasantly surprised to find this model available after caring one previously for 10 years. A little tight and stiff but loosen up well after lubrication and lbreak in period.

Looks like it was put together quickly. Could see dried up glue at the top of the handle. Rivets on edge of the handle. Opening and closing the blade I hear a grinding noise. Hair line fractures and divots all over the wooden handle. Only good thing was the weight, feels good in the hand and seems perfectly weighted.

It's an ok knife, entirely functional, yet the quality of the finish just not what it looks like on the picture. Compare to the picture: the wood looks cheaper, the grains in the wood are nothing like the picture, finish is so-so, rivets are not polished perfectly, you can feel them sticking out a bit. The metal looks mirror-polished on the picture but it's not. I can see some extra material sticking out where the Winchester logo is embedded in the handle. Well, in all honesty it's a very cheap knife, so I won't hold any grudges. I got exactly what I paid for. Just want to share so other buyers can make an educated choice and corrected expectations.

Never had a single issue with this knife. My favorite knife in the world.

I liked the price and how sharp the blade is.
