Heavy, but nice

I use this knife everyday in the field, and it stays sharp. Very durable construction - blade goes all the way through the handle - not some cheap bolted in place thing. I've managed to chip off a tiny part of the handle, but with the amount of use it's had it's fine - and the wood beneath is still blue all the way through. Haven't had it very long, but all of my co-workers were naysayers that it was a "decorative knife" and wouldn't be useful. Until they used it and said it was better than theirs. Slightly more skeptical on the sheath - it's leather, but the buttons have started rusting slightly and some of the leather flaps are bending weird ways with normal use. Time will tell on that component. But overall very satisfied, extremely durable where it counts.

I cut myself with it

So far there hasn't been any issues with the knife itself, however, the sheath is poor quality. We purchased this knife for a Christmas gift and within 6 months it's falling apart. For the most part, this knife hasn't been used or carried much since purchasing it, so the sheath falling apart is disappointing.

Great knife, you should oil it once every week so the blade doesn’t start to rust since it isn’t stainless steal. I also poured oil down the sheath to make the leather stronger.

This is a well made blade and very affordable as well. Earlier I had a small knife I would keep in my tackle box that took a little while to cut through line by with this knife it's almost instant. Has a good weight to it and has a beautiful handle totally worth having.
