Expand the use of wire wire rail crimper
I bought from Muzata a Wire Ferrell / Terminal crimp tool. It came with 1/8" die. I then had the need to crimp connectors on 6 ga battery and power wire for a car being restored so purchased this set. While Muzata said this could not be used and didn't know where to get more dies, I tried SUCCESSFULLY this kit which worked flawless. Thanks for offering this set! Muzata should carry to further justify the usefulness of a $100 tool beyond a single usage

Quite a variety of sizes.
Makes my crimper much more useful with all these different sizes. They fit my hydraulic crimper perfect, just like the original dies.

Decent replacement, good price.
Purchased to complete a set missing from a used kit purchased at yard sale. Tolerance was slightly off, but no effect on operation.

Fit a Muzata 45KN Upgraded Custom Hydraulic Hand Crimper Tool
I had a Muzata 45KN (Upgraded Custom Hydraulic Hand Crimper Tool) that came with a single size (1/8") die and could not find a Muzata source for dies of different sizes. These looked the same so I thought I would give them a try. They fit in nicely. I would have been very happy, but the set of 9 dies came as a set of 8; it had 3 of the #8 die jaws and only 1 # of the 6 die jaws. The return for a replacement through Amazon is easy so now I just need to wait for the replacement set to come in. I wish there had been a way to just get the missing part so I could have been using the dies that did come in, but two more day to get the replacement should not be too bad.My replacement kit came in and it is all there. I tried a test crimp out on a 1/8" cable loop that I will use as a backup support and to stabilize an outside boom camera mount, and the die sizes let me get a crimp that is just about perfect. These feel solid and well made, so I am expecting to get many years of service out of these.

Good product
Ok first off idk who sizes these things but where ever they made them they probably don't know different sizes. I used it for a 1/0 gauge some people call it 0 gauge, the die that works for the 1/0 gauge wire is the die with number 50 on it, im assuming that the die with 70 on it is 2/00. I seen someone say that 1/0 gauge was 70 but trust me it's the die with 50 on it. One thing I noticed is when putting die in my crimper the bottom one has some play and can shift before you start to crimp, I mean I noticed it immediately before it started crimping and straightened it out. Other than this great looking crimp nice tight .

Doesn't resolve copper "wing" issue
I read that these dies would fix the issue where the copper squeezes out on the sides in to "wings". These didn't fix the problem...at all.

These are the near perfect addition the HF hydraulic crimper I got.
So carefully going through the dies I can say this is near perfect. Only two of the smaller die sets aren't unique meaning they are already included in the HF tool. What is nice is that it has a larger die than the largest HF die which is handy. As many of you know it's important to have a large assortment of close dies with these types of tools as you will find that some lugs and some wire can be off slightly and might need a slightly tighter crimp at times. You can also cram all these dies into the HF Hydraulic crimper box and store it all away in one place which I really like. The two smaller repeat dies I will save and grind down to meet some specific crimp job I am working on in the future which I don't have.
