Rockfish and Lings Love It
I bounce it off the bottom while in a drift and tend to get larger rockfish or lings. It generally is larger enough to avoid the smaller fish. So you don't catch as many as a shrimp fly, but the ones you get are higher quality and a higher percentage of Lings.Bouncing it off the bottom has caused some of the finish to chip off, but the fish don't seem to care.
