I purchased this to replace and old and broken kayak seat. This is padded and has a nice back support. It has made a world of difference in my kayaking experience.

The seat maid sitting in my kayak great. But my glasses being somewhere on the river because they fell out the popped seem really sucks.Those were my reading glasses.So with that being said I .pretty pissed. That's another 100 dollars to replace them. I trusted the product and causede loss greater than I spent on the seat.I would like to see some kind of compansation for that. Weather it's some kind of gear or something.I like kayak camping at sites you can only get to by river or hike..

I bought this seat because of the attached waterproof bag on the back. I thought it would be a great place to throw my car keys, cellphone, and anything else I needed to keep dry.The flipping bag isn't waterproof. I laid the seat down so I could lay down on my board. I'm sure water splashed on the board as I paddled back. The bag was never underwater. Water was pooled in the bottom of the bag. Luckily, I only had my car keys in it.Back support doesn't work for me but I have a jacked up back (back surgery, 3 herniated disc, etc). I also have an inflatable SUP. In a perfect world, I would get the seat perfect before hitting the water. It can be adjusted a ton.I wouldn't buy it again
