Well-Thought Out...But Watch Your Toes.
If you hate assembling furniture, this is not for you. But if you enjoy bolting things together, it's a fun project. Every bolt, nut and washer is clearly identified and sealed in a compartmentalized bubble pack. The instructions were a little sketchy and I would have used a larger typeface to help out old farts like me. But it all went together beautifully. (I skipped the supplied tools -- one small wrench and an Allen wrench -- and used my own tools.)The bed is incredibly sturdy. The frame is all steel. And I'm assuming, indestructible, once fully assembled and everything is tightened down. There is roughly 12 inches of height underneath the bed, offering loads of storage space. And paired with the ZINUS 12 Inch Ultra Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress, my girlfriend and I couldn't be more pleased.Except for the center support legs on each side. The legs not only prevent the sides from sagging, they each are used to connect two pieces of the frame. Maybe it's just me, but I've managed to stub my toes on these things a few times while making the bed. And I slammed my heel against it while getting out of bed this morning. I dunno...maybe it's me. I've never owned a bed that was supported in the center like this. My feet aren't expecting a steel pipe to be right there. It's roughly 1/2" iron pipe.A quick trip to Lowes for some foam pipe wrap has hopefully solved the problem, and does not seem to have affected the overall aesthetics of the bed. (See photo.)I give it five stars. It has contemporary good looks, it's built like a beast, and it wasn't missing a single bolt, nut or washer. Just watch your toes or that center support will getcha!

Absolutely recommend!!
I was really unsure about buying something like this on line. Sooooo glad I did! It is very pretty, super strong and sturdy. We bought a 200lb mattress that requires a"platform"frame so I started looking. Couldn't find anything in my little town so went on Amazon and found this! The price was amazing. It came in less than a week. It was in perfect condition with all the parts. Now me and my husband are not mechanically inclined in any way, at all, we usually make our adult kids do stuff like this for us! It took 3 and a half hours for hubby to put together with me and my father in law jumping in here and there. Pretty straight forward. Not a huge amount of parts but the directions were hard. No words just a picture. Pretty small picture and hard to see. But if we can do it anyone can! I MUST add the corners and that center bar on the side will get you!!I went a got a pool noodle, cut it up and put on base of bar on side, in center and base and top corner of foot board corners, until we get used to it. I also read quite a few reviews that said it was squeaky or noisy??? I've not heard one single squeak. Though we did tighten the bolts really good. My hubby is 185lbs and I'm 145lbs... We even bounced on it.. It really is a good looking little frame:)I totally recommend you have your own Allen wrenches and crescent wrench, theirs are pretty cheap. Though I did use their little crescent and it worked ok for me, while hubby had the good tools:)a power drill would absolutely make it go much faster, though ours wasn't working. Probably would have cut building time by third to a half! A LOT of bolts!Absolutely recommend this frame!!!

Pleased with this purchase
I am pleased with this purchase. Assembly was a 4 hour job for one person but directions were clear. Appearance is as shown and looks nice. It seems to be sturdy but I am the sole user and weigh150 pounds. Not sure how it would be with a couple using the bed.

Solid & Structural
This frame is quite nice for the money, and comes nicely boxed so it’s easy to maneuver into the house. I’ve docked it a star and I’ll get to that in a moment.1) Unboxing - Again everything is nicely packaged and easy to set out and organize. All parts are numbered and correspond to the kind of terrible directions.2) Instructions- This is part of why we’ve docked a star here. They’re not great but they’re serviceable. The pictures at times are vague at best, but everything is labeled.3) Assembly - Throw the included tools in the trash, as with any furniture item with tools in a blister pack. I used my Snap On 1/4” ratchet to avoid over torque and the allen socket you need is a 4mm as well as a 13mm wrench. A quality ratchet wrench helps here. Bonus points if you use a ball allen socket for when you need to get in at an angle. The blister pack of bolts sucks. Once you try to start pulling bolts out, everything slides around and isn’t in the labeled spots. I used ziploc bags I hand labeled one by one. Much easier!4) Quality- Everything is powder coated and the hardware itself seems durable and good enough for the job. The wood for the head and foot boards appears to be nice enough. I wish the wood chosen for the head board more filled the metal space, this is another part of why a star was docked.5 Sturdiness - Seems quite sturdy enough if you’ve gotten everything torqued properly. No squeaks to report and the frame is planted and seems like I could park a Mack truck on it.Final thoughts :Assembly is not hard, but can be cumbersome. You’ll need a helper for sure. For the money, the quality is there and the value is justified. Take your time and you’ll be happy with the end result.

Best ever and doesn’t make a creaky sound!!!
OMG!!! I love this bed frame!!! It doesn’t make a sound not even a little peep, even jumping up and down (but don’t my son broke his leg like that when he was little )I will say, assembling was very tedious, but worth it! My mattress fits perfectly into it and being able to climb under it to pick up all the dog hair is doable.

Super cute and sturdy!
It took roughly 3 hours to build this thing lol but worth every penny and tear. It looks expensive.

Nice
So far so good, for the price you can’t beat this bed frame. Very sturdy and doesn’t squeak. If you have 2 people to assemble it’s easy to assemble but by yourself will definitely take a while and you will feel it the next day. Still worth it for this frame.
