AbDominator Fitness Exercise Roller, Abdominal Workout, Strengthen Core

Meaning the cost of non plastic materials these days must really be high. I can see next levels in terms of build quality/durability but there would be no way to keep the nice price point. And that would kill sales. As such for $40 this is the best ab roller you'll find. Versatile, light weight, not too noisy, sturdy, etc etc and so forth. And who doesn't like neon green with a big X on it. ....hmmmm is this designed for or by Microsoft gamers also?????

It seems to be a little flimsy on the construction. I will have to see how it holds up during use.

ugh, i hate this thing...because it works. i'm just now (reluctantly) starting my exercise journey and after seeing the commercials for this decided to give it a shot. i have zero upper body strength, and when i say zero, i mean it. i'm starting from square one here. when it arrived i decided to give it a test run just to see how much of a fool i was going to make of myself while using this. firstly, opening the box was a workout itself. i mean this thing was zip tied up like Fort Knox! i did a grand total of MAYBE 3 minutes rolling around on this thing (over about 30 because like i said, i'm just starting out). immediately my arms were tired and shaky. the next morning, my abs were on fire!!! i've been using it off and on since it arrived, i've yet to commit to a regular work out schedule because, you know, life. but it certainly works. my arms, shoulders, back, and abs feel it the most but even my butt is sore from all the flexing and rolling (and falling). the "fun" part of this is trying to do use it for a plank. talk about a workout. it was worth the money and really does work. even just 5 minutes on this sucker, you'll feel the difference.

First issue, it's noisy. My much less expensive wheel, is nearly silent. This roller makes a racket on most surfaces, even a yoga mat. Next, it feels flimsy. The plastic doesn't seem designed to hold the weight of a larger person. I didn't see any weight restriction when purchasing. If it's only for people under 200 lbs, it should say so.

My wife, who is a certified Spin and Fitness instructor at one of the larger gyms in New Jersey purchased this product after one of her regulars suggested it to her. When the package arrived I was definitely intrigued by the design and quality of craftsmanship. As a former college QB, and at 6'5" and about 250 lbs, I wondered if the Abdominator was up to the challenge. I should have wondered... Am I up for the challenge??? The Abdominator was not only up to the challenge, but far exceeded my expectations. It is extremely sturdy and was more than capable to handling my weight, I found the range of movement, smooth operation and exercises suggested worked muscles in my body I didn't even know I had, compared to traditional core exercises I have done for the past 20 years. My football days are long gone, however I feel that the core strength I will be able secure using the Abdominator will definitely help my in the upcoming golf season in the Northeast. My wife loves the product and is considering incorporating it into the classes she teaches at the gym.

I have been using my AbDominator for about two weeks and am very pleased with the product! I have used on both carpeted and hardwood floors and I rotate every other day. Anyone can use this whether you are super toned or someone like myself trying to get back into shape. I have also been suffering from Sciatic nerve pain in my lower back for the last 5 years. Certain exercise programs have really aggravated that condition over the past few years but the AbDominator has really relieved that pain since I have been using it. If you have any kind of lower back pain, I would definitely recommend giving it a try! I also like the fact that I can go at my own pace. I am only at the beginners pace but am looking forward to moving up to more enhancing workouts and seeing the results. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Purchased this because I thought the "mouse" concept would be better than the wheel when working the obliques. This product is not as smooth as the wheel and after trying to use for several days I went back to my wheel. Great concept but not what I was looking for.

I received my Abdominator a few days ago and so far I am really enjoying it. As a runner I have been looking for an alternative to the current exercises I have been doing for core strengthening. So far this is doing the trick. I've only tested it on a low-pile carpet similar to a barber and I'm not having any problems with binding or drag with the wheel. This AB exerciser allows me to work my obliques in several different movements. Also because of the positioning my buttocks and hamstrings also get a workout. It has made me realize I'm not in as good of shape as I thought!!It is portable enough that it can be taken places when I travel, especially for a few days away by car. I'm giving the Abdominator 5 Stars right now as it seems to be well made and is giving me a great workout.
