this is exactly what i need for my ancient HP pavilian dv6-6c. silly kitties have trashed my original one via chewing and pushing laptop off table and landing on the input plug. interesting, with this new charger, the computer seems to be faster and act better, so i may have had a problem with the old power unit for longer than I knew about. happy with this purchase.

It's a sad story with a happy ending. I bought this cord as a replacement after the original one that came with my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop died. This replacement worked the first few times, but then stopped charging my laptop. It would keep it running, but provided no extra juice to actually charge the battery. I wrote my sad review, thinking I'd simply find a different solution, but I was immediately contacted by the seller. Not only did they take time to reach out to me, but immediately sent me a new replacement. I've tested the new replacement cord for a couple of months now, and it's still going strong, doing the job it was meant to do. I'm assuming the first one was just a one-off dud. The seller, on the other hand, has been a real gem. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Thanks for going above and beyond with customer service --

Needed a new laptop charger after the original charger became unreliable. Keeps the battery charged and didn't cost a fortune. Arrived very quickly and works great!

I believe the charger worked great, I think just my laptop is old and has given up on me so, I’m not sure whether it’s a laptop issue or the charger is the issue. So I definitely do not want to give a bad review on this product because I’ve had my laptop since 2012 and it finally just gave out recently.

I purchased 2 of these and they work great!!! Wanted to have a charger for home and the beach house so I could transport my work materials easier. The price was great. They charge the computer well. The plug is nice and secure in the computer port and the other end is sturdy and plugs nicely in to the socket. Very sturdy. Was afraid it may be really cheaply constructed, but was pleasantly surprised.
