Stunning colour
I love the colour. I’m not one for reading the instructions religiously so I can’t put this down to the brands fault but it’s been about 4 or 5 washes now and the dye is still coming out in the wash so would be careful

Only worth for one or two garments
I needed to die 8 white synthetic button-up shirts for my child's uniform. I tested the dye with two shirts (they weighed 6.20 oz/176gr while dry). I used half the bottle (3.5fl oz.) and a 5L pot for the process.I kept the shirts in the dye bath for an hour and as they dried the colour is a dark pink at best. Not really red.The instructions said to sue the full bottle (7fl.oz) for polyester, but it's not clear if this means 100% polyester or garments with some percentage of polyester.Giving the results I got with two small shirts, any fabric with polyester will need the full bottle. Also, you require a massive pot, bigger than 5L (which most people don't have), so it's something that needs to be added to the total cost. Plus the electricity/gas to keep the water above 93 °C.For me, it simply takes too much time and ends up costing me more than buying individual red shirts online.

Good product
Dyed 60% polyester 40% cotton. Dyed with cotton dye first in machine and then used this product. Very good result. One star deducted as stovetop boiling a bit messy but needed given the temperature required for dye fastness in synthetic fabric.

Nothing like the colour it’s meant to be
Dyed a white shirt that was mainly polyester - small amount of cotton. Came out a denim blue and I needed a navy as per the bottle. I also put in a pair of navy cotton shorts to ‘refresh’ where they’d bleached a bit in the wash. I could not get them to wash clear again. After about 30 changes of rinse water, there was still dye in it so I ended up throwing shorts away. If I could give it no stars I would. Rubbish!

Excellent coverage
After a disappointing Dylon dye adventure where spots of red and blue were left on the beige fabric I turned to this product to correct the situation. I had to go darker than intentionally intended to cover the mess but it looks great.

Good stuff
If your gonna dye scales use the dye more not the all purpose, and colour will be darker then expected as well

Expensive
Product is great, price is not. DOUBLE THE COST OF RETAIL. Only ordered as someone scooped up local supply and we needed sooner than reorder time frame of regular retailer.

A little lighter than in the pictures
Overall great dye for SYNTHETIC fibers; I've used many colors before with no complaints; this one just came out a little lighter than in the pictures so i had to mix it with black which wasn't an issue
