I was looking to buy a rice cooker for my mom and considered buying one of those fancy $300 models. But since she’s not great with technology, I realized that too many buttons would probably just confuse her. Her old rice cooker only had one button, so I decided to get her something similar. This one is perfect and so cheap! The rice comes out perfectly every time, and it’s great for elderly people who is bad with technology since it only has one button.

I haven't had a need for a rice cooker, mainly cooking my rice on the stove top.After many long work nights and busy days with kids, and many youtube videos on one pot meals, I bought this rice cooker. Just a simple, no fail cook/warm button. None of those with a million cook options :).(It's important to know that these rice cooker cups that comes with the rice cooker are NOT your standard 1 cup size, it's more like 3/4 of a regular cup size).I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it cooked my rice, especially my sweet glutonous rice where normally you would have to soak for 4-6 hrs to overnight. I was extremely impressed at how quickly and cooked thru it was in such a short amount of time. I have tried making hainanese chicken and it turned out perfectly. My new favorite go to! I've also tried various rice and chicken one pot meals, even steaming sweet potatos and it comes out perfect everytime! I love that the design is not bulky, durable, and also love the color. It's a keeper for me!

This rice cooker is very useful and cook faster and easy to use.

This is a great unit for rice. Haven’t tried it for other things.

Works well, my only concern is closing the lid it is very hard to close. When the pan is not in the machine it locks in place as it should.

the lid is loose at the hinge and often has a hard time locking down. when the rice is finished cooking which is pretty fast compared to my Tiger Rice cooker and auto sets to warm, its not actually ready yet its still very mushy and rice is “al dente” and needs to be on warm mode for almost an hour till its actually a good texture. You have ti unplug it completely to turn off the Warm setting. once its plugged it its already on Warm light is on. I will not repurchase this if it breaks I should have gone with a Japanese cooker per usual. There is no setting for brown rice etc its just warm or cook.

It cooks the rice well. There are markings inside the bowl to show some measurements. It's a pretty good size. It doesn't take too long. It also comes with a pouring cup and a rice scoop. It's dummy-proof where the only options are only Cook and Warm.
