LOTS of uses for this tool
We love quesadillas. That is our ‘last minute dinner’ go to. And this cutter is a game changer! A ‘wheel’ cutter works but causes the melted ingredients to ‘slide’ and it takes multiple ‘back and forth’ passes together a full cut. This cutter works perfectly - the first time. Beautiful, clean, full cuts with one or two ‘rocks’. Three disgonal cuts, a perfectly cut quesadilla. Perfect. And you can use the cutter s a ‘spatula’ to easily move the cut pieces to individual plates. Done and Done. Want to chop/cut scallions, herbs, crumble bacon - etc - try this…

AWESOME!!
Forget those wheel like pizza cutters! Bought this pizza cutter for my grandson for Christmas per his request. He frequently cooks for himself, but being on the autism spectrum and having OCD made cutting the pizza difficult ( pieces were uneven and not shaped right). This pizza cutter is a game changer! Line it up, push down and rock back and forth. Pick up adjust 90’ repeat. Uniform slices- no stress. Easy to use, easy to clean, love the blade guard! Everyone who loves pizza needs this cutter. It also cuts quesadillas and sandwiches. I’ve used it to chop vegetables as well since it has a very sturdy blade. Very well made, versatile, easily stored and great value for the money.

New? No. Well Known? Yes
Years ago, when I was a Comestible Dispersion Specialist (pizza delivery driver), the cook in the establishment used a long pizza cutter like this one.One day I asked, "Why not use a roller blade, like everyone else?" He said, "This is faster & easier". By the way, he had been working in pizza parlors for many, many years. OK. Filed that away for future reference.(Pizza PARLOR/Burger JOINT - is there some message there?)Now, twenty-some years later, I've finally gotten around to testing that hypothesis. I've been using a hefty roller with a fairly sharp edge on a clear plastic wheel. It has worked fine for years. Easy to use, easy to clean. However, the continuing problem with any roller wheel is that it makes a sloppy cut thru the toppings. Carefully placed olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, etc. get moved around. The cheese gets mushed and sometimes spaces open up.The mezzaluna (half-moon), a type of knife, was created by Italian Silvio Pacitti in 1708 because he was looking for a different way of cutting vegetables. The mezzaluna is still used as a pizza cutter today, particularly for Chicago style pizzas. One reason this rocker-style cutter is used in parlors and restaurants is that it cuts neatly, without unduly disturbing the toppings. This knife is stainless steel. I got the black version, which has a non-stick coating. It is magnetic, so it's definitely a steel alloy of some type. One of the answers to a customer question (here on Amazon) says that it is 18/0 stainless (18/0 means 18% chromium/0% nickel). No nickel in the alloy is less expensive to produce, but it also means low protection against stains.18/8 or 18/10 is preferred in professional environments, but implements made of 18/0 steel are OK. They provide good quality for the price and are reasonably durable. Just be sure to rinse clean this knife soon after use and dry it thoroughly.I like this utensil. It's stiff, sharp and comfortable to use. I keep the cutting edge covered with the plastic guard it came with and I use the hole to hang it out of the way.

Nice pizza cutter for home
I spent a few years of my youth working at a well-known pizza place and I used a rocker similar to this to cut approximately 2 gazillion pizzas. It's worth noting this cutter is NOT as heavy duty as what you might find in a commercial kitchen - but you probably shouldn't expect it to be that heavy duty for something you're going to be using in your home. The stainless steel seems to be of good quality, and clean up has been easy.If you cook and cut pizza on any kind of regular basis, I recommend this rocker. I would buy it again.

Sleek design, sharp blade.
Love love love. Very thin sharp blade. Very easy to use, less mess than the circular kind. Highly recommend!

Go for it!
It's a phenomenal pizza cutter. I was very concerned about getting my fingers cut, but despite the excellent performance the act of washing is very easy and safe. Avoid at all cost using the rough side of the sponge against the edge, otherwise you'll lose its efficiency. I'm very happy with that purchase.
