Trap is amazing but there are important things to know to make it work
This trap really works. Easy to set with foot. Key is make sure trap is over an active tunnel. They tell you in the directions on how to identity the active tunnels. I also find that using a spade to cut slots in the ground where the trap goes makes it so much easier to set. Remember to pinch down the dirt where the trigger goes or the trap will not set. It is so satisfying to pull out the dead critters and know your lawn is protected.

SEEMS TO BE WORKING
I started having a lot of mole tracks in the yard after rain when the little buggers could did easy...they were really tearing up my newly seeded lawn. I gave these a try and I just took a big spike and made holes in the fresh tracks and put a worm every few feet. It took a few treatments cause I must have had a big family of moles but after a couple weeks the tracks stopped completely...so, they either found greener pastures or they are in mole heaven thanks to the worms. I have a dog so I put chicken wire and heavy pots over the places I put worms so she couldn't dig for them...she never really tried. I marked each worm location and I dug up the area to make sure they were gone and of the 15 or so I only found 1 still in the ground. So they do get eaten...I recommend this product. Keep unused worms in a cool dry place no kids or pets can reach!

Easy to use and very effective.
Without hesitation, I recommend Tomcat. I've used it in my yard since the fall of 2024. After I find a mole run, I use a pole to punch a hole in the mole run to where I hit the run. I then place a worm in the hole and cover the hole with a small amount of dirt. I watch the run until I am certain the mole has been eliminated then I pack down the soil along the run.

Serious problem with packaging.
BUYER BEWARE! Recently I ordered and received a 10 Pack of the TomCat Mole Killer worms. Upon opening I discovered that each one of the 5 X 2 trays had the gelatinous product pooled in blobs at the end of the trays. In other words, instead of the product filling trays evently end to end it went to the ends, spilling beyond. A serious error in manufacturing/packaging. The resulting product is useless and a waste of my money. I will seek a refund from the company.

For us it wasn’t a great buy! The mole or voles stayed around all summer….Maybe in your yard it may do the trick! Thanks! BAK

Eviction notice given to the moles.
I’ve never had moles before but purchased a new home and discovered so many mole hills that they became a trip hazard. I hadn’t noticed them at the time I purchased the house. I installed the noise making spikes and they only annoyed me. I don’t think the moles cared they were there.I watched the video on how to use the worms, but I jumped ahead and decided to go ahead and put all 10 worms into the ground throughout the yard. I have a small yard, but I wish I had cut the worms in half or ordered a larger box so I could’ve tackled more mole Hills and tunnels.I got up early this morning to check to see if there was any activity and yes, there was. I don’t know any other way to describe it, but it looked like there had been a frenzy in my yard. New mole tunnels, leading from the areas where I had put the worms and there were huge holes in my yard. These tunnels and holes were much larger than before. One might think that would be upsetting, However, it told me something was going on and the worms had an effect. I did not find any dead moles, but I feel there was some tremendous effort on their part to leave. I did order another box and I’ll place those in the yard in a couple of days. This time. I’ll cut the worms in half to see if they can go further. I’ll give an update.

Best product on the market! UPDATE
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2025: I had a friend tell me that she cuts the worms in half which doubles the number of worms you can put down. So I tried that and I was able to find 2 dead moles within 3 days of each other. So cutting them in half not only gives you a larger area to cover, but saves you money as well!!We have lived in our house for over 25 years and never had an issue with moles/voles until 2 summers ago. Then all of a sudden we start seeing mole trails everywhere. We purchased and tried everything on the market to try and get rid of these moles. Nothing we bought worked. We even purchased the very expensive ultrasonic solar powered spikes that are supposed to scare the moles away. The moles actually made tunnels all around every single one of the spikes. Like they were laughing at our attempt! Finally, a friend told me about these worms. I didn't think something so simple and so easy-to-use would work but I was desperate to get rid of them so I decided to give them a try. I bought one box of ten and put them in the areas that we noticed the trails. We did notice a decline in activity but still were getting fresh tunnels. So I purchased another box and used all ten worms in the areas of the fresh tunnels. We never had a new tunnel after that. I think we had to use a second box because I believe there were more than one mole. Last year about this time (June) we noticed a fresh tunnel. I put down ten more worms and didn't have any issues for the rest of the summer. Last week, we noticed a new tunnel. I had five worms left from last summers purchase. I put those five down and the very next morning, there was a dead mole exactly on top of one of the places I had put the worm down! Less than 24 hours. Plus the worms had been in our garage all year long opened. But they evidently didn't lose any of their potency. If you read the directions or watch the video, you probably think that is too much work to try to figure out where you should put the worms. I have never went thru all of that. I always put the worms in what ever fresh trails I see. I don't look for their "traveling" trails. I put it in the short trails or long trails. As long as it's a fresh trail and it does the job. So you don't have to wait and watch the trails over 2 or 3 days like they tell you to in the instructions. If you see a trail, stick a worm in it and it works! So glad my friend told me about these. I won't be using anything else. Now if I can find something that works this well on my ant infestation outside!

Not working for the pest in my yard.
Tomcat's ant bait product is incredible, but I can't say the same for this mole killer. 2 weeks after I applied the product, new holes surfaced. However, I split the worms in half to apply to multiple areas that moles could visit. Unless the animals are not moles, it doesn't work for me. I've had better luck using coffee grounds to repel pests than this.
