ECO LIPS Organic Spf30 Natural Lip Balm Eco-Cli, 0.15 OZ

Like many reviewers, I didn't buy this product for the lip balm - I bought it for the clip and could not possibly care less about the actual balm.The balm is pretty ho-hum. It's your standard waxy stick, vaguely fragranced, nothing special. It claims to have an SPF of 30, which is unusual for a lip balm (most I've bought have been SPF15) so that's cool but I prefer my lip products to have a touch of cosmetic elegance.What I wanted was a way to get my usual favorite lip balms closer to hand while traveling (attached to my backpack shoulder strap) participating in water sports (clipped to my life jacket) and generally not lost in the bottomless pit that is my everyday handbag (snapped onto an inner zipper pull.) This works great. It's so awesome I'm considering a couple more just to have them handy.The flexible material that the "gripper" is made from can even expand to fit my slightly-chubbier tinted balm tubes - although it was a bit of a struggler to remove it and I worried that it might not shrink back down to size - if I planned to keep using the wider balms all the time I might sacrifice the gripper to that purpose but for now I will keep using the standard ChapStick sized tubes.

Full disclosure...really only bought for the top and carabiner. The chapstick supplied was not good and expected to be a throw away, but popped in my regular flavored chapstick and it works like a charm. I switched out with several manufacturers like Burts BeesI I carry on my key chain and have for several weeks and so far no issues.

The lip balm holder itself is exactly what I was looking for and works fine with my Chapstick. I ordered this twice in two separate orders. The first once came and the seal was broken and the balm itself smelled awful. I couldn't figure out what it smelled like until I realized it smelled exactly like a shaker bottle when you accidentally leave protein powder sitting in it. If you've ever done this you know how bad that smells. After that, I didn't even want to try the second one even though it was still properly sealed. I just use the products I already own.

I dreamed up the need for this item, and then, guess what? Someone had beat me to it, and I found it on Amazon. I take it with me on every walk, hike, or bicycle ride. For those of us who hate chapped lips, it's irreplaceable. Thanks to whoever invented it.

Great product. I had the same one from 2006. Used it till 2016. Lost it. Got this one April 2016. As durable. Fit any brand chap stick. Some time it's hard to get the new tube on and off. Just put the thing in hot water, the cap slides right off and You can put the new chapstick on without problem.

I was so tired of buying chapstick after chapstick because I dropped it or can't find the purse, snack bag, kids backpack that I left it in. I always have my keys with me so this was perfect. I did think it was a bit pricey, but in the long run I think it will be worth it. It even came with a chapstick.I don't like the smell of the chap stick that it came with, but otherwise I love it. If I'm at the playground with my son I don't have to have dry lips nor carry a purse. It's wonderful.Update: After a month or two of use I lost my Chapstick. I use it on my car keys and I hang them on my work ID lanyard. I've lost three. The top stays in but the tube does not. I want to try it again after months of no use, but I'm just tired of wasting my money.

I have been looking for something that will hold my chapstick so I don't lose it. This works very well. I never have to look for my chapstick. I just grab my keys and go! The chapstick that came with it was..... Not that good. I through it in trash. It tasted and smelled bad. It was not a big deal seeing I wanted to replace it with my own anyway. The other issue I can see this thing having in the future is the black cap stretching out to where it won't fit your chapstick. You have to wiggle it in and out to get the cap out to replace it. Hopefully it will last a while but only time will tell. I recommend this product and would buy again. 4 stars.

I got this chapstick holder for my husband to put on his keys because he kept losing his chapsticks. I didn't like the chapstick that the holder came with, but my husband doesn't mind it. He's had it on his keys for a month or two now and he hasn't lost it, so that's a win! The only complaint about the holder is my husband thinks it's a little too bulky to have on his keyring, but he lives with it. However, I don't think other people will mind since it's comparable to other things many people keep on their keys.
