They are thicker than the oem screws. But really tight. The "locking" notch is tough notch. Definitely can tell they are locked into place.I'd definitely recommend them

Saddle bags were very sloppy and loose bought theses and with the new one and washer they don’t even move now

My Road King saddlebag pins only have a slash for a coin or screw driver to take them off. I don't remove the bags very often; but I wanted the ease of doing so without finding a tool. These retainer pins work great, and the loop folds down out of the way. I would recommend the purchase of this product.

Excellent part for my hard saddle bags. The rubber gromets can be a pain to install, but it can be done (from the inside).

A little lighter than stock but does the job.

These pins are improperly designed and should not be used. They lack the locking feature found on the OEM pins and as a result can vibrate out which can cause the saddlebags to detach from the bike while underway. The pictures of the pins depict the locking detent but it did not exist on the four pins I received. I did read a previous review where someone else pointed out this design/manufacturing flaw. I assumed it could be a one off but it appears this is not the case. Simply compare an OEM Harley pin to one of these and the problem is clear. It’s all about safety when riding a motorcycle and this is an accident waiting to happen. Steer clear of this seller and get the proper pins elsewhere. I will be returning mine…
