These lights are fantastic! Very helpful! When I wake up at night and need to go you-know-where, the lights that I have placed on the floor show me the way there and back. Then once I'm back under the covers, the lights go off. The amber quality allows me to fall back asleep much more easily than if I had used a traditional (white) light. But please be aware that when the batteries get low, the motion detector won't work correctly. I had one that stayed on a while, blinked off for one second, and repeated that pattern. I was thinking I would have to throw it out; however, it simply needed new batteries.

Love the amber color - not as harsh as the bright white light of many others. I can navigate the steep stairs without waking up others and the light is soothing. Don't know how long they'll last, but putting the three up took five minutes total. They automatically cut off about 15 seconds after you pass by.

I thought about what gift I would like to buy myself for Christmas. Kids are grown and I am widowed. My wish was to not have to hand search in the dark for my light switches as I am usually doing many times a night. At first I had plans to mount them with VELCRO mounts as to not harm walls or worry about needing an electrician.When I got my first six I noticed I could literally set them anywhere - they are like a cube -- so no real need to mount any of them. Even by my bath tub....Now I have so much fun walking down my hallways and feels like having candles lit up just for me and turn off as I exit the area. The lights are also very much like candle light! So I find them calming. As an artist I even set a few up near mirrors to get a really chic multiplication effect. I feel they are like "living art." I can even mount some above paintings I created for even more stunning effect.Yes, I understand I will have to change batteries quarterly (based on some QandA I read here) but for the feeling of being taken care of...during bummer Covid lockdowns...I feel they are priceless. The other reviewer did not mention if they were using lithium batteries and possble I may get 6 months out of mine. I totally will buy a set to give as a gift to others. And beyond their coolness they unexpectedly came in handy a few times when I would hear a noise while sleeping (I do not have to feel around for a light switch) the unit(s) sees me.PAMPER YOURSELF with these!!

I was looking for something that would provide a little bit of soft light at night for our laundry room, enough to see to walk through without turning on the bright overhead lights. These are perfect. I placed two under the front edge of the base cabinets. I did not mount them, they are simply sitting on the floor. They provide a soft, warm light when activated and is enough to see your path but are unobtrusive during the day. I plan on adding more, good anywhere you need some extra light at night but don't want anything harsh or too bright. I have had them for about a year and half, replaced the batteries once and they have operated without any problem. Truly a wonderful product and I highly recommend them.

Got these for a senior who is prone to falling in the dark. They all come with a base plate that you can stick onto the wall with adhesive. They slide on and off the plate for easy battery changing. The light at night is a nice warm amber light and very bright. Setup in a long hallway and when you walk down there at night it feels like an airport runway. Everything is visible with these lights. Great value and ease of sticking them anywhere is great

Works great! I have six on a stairwell, every other step, in a vacation cabin. Bathrooms are a floor down from the bedrooms, so these light up when you approach the top step, stay lit for 30-40 seconds, then turn off. Still feels magical to walk and have the path ahead just instantly brighten ahead of you! The lights ship with double sided adhesive foam and a quick-release plate. You stick the plate to the wall, and the units click into it, so removing for battery changes is quick and easy. I had no idea the kit shipped with the tape and quick release plates so hopefully this helps somebody. Light is bright enough to see without being a jolt. It’s not “amber” so much as “candlelight” colour. No clue on battery life, I’ll likely switch to rechargeables now that I know they’re here to stay. Love them!

I purchased sets of these to use as night lights for my elderly parents. I set them at an angle so a lighted path to and from the bathroom goes on when they get out of bed. The lights reduce the risk of falls. They emit a warm light, bright enough without being harsh.I dropped a star only because one was defective. That’s unacceptable for the price.

GREAT in the rv when you get up and dont want to flick on lights just to go to the washroom. Also great for making a coffee in the early morning when bright lights are too much too soon. A nice warm light that gives a nice ambiance. I didnt mount mine permanently as i like to be able to move them where i need them (take em camping, or let a friend use them etc)Im thinking of getting another set but i am just waiting to see how long the batteries last. I use rechargeable that i charge up using a solar panel set up so its not a big deal.

Although the lights are finnicky prior to being put on the wall to get them to light up properly, once you have the lights working, they work fantastically, with a more then sufficient range for the motion sensor, and a light that is bright enough to illuminate the area that you are interested in. I can't yet make any comment on the battery life, however, I can say that some of the lights that I had placed 2 weeks ago in a high traffic area are still going strong at this point

These lights work as described. The yellow glow is definitely much nicer than the bright white lights of others I have used. I just started using them April 21st so a bit soon to talk about battery life yet.. but so far so good. A+

I placed these lights on my stairs , bathroom , bedrooms and kitchen .. they’re great I can move throughout the house when I wake in the middle of the night and not look for light switches

I have a dark unfinished basement and these are great for going down to light the fire - especially the light switch is quite far inside so these light my way
