Works as advertised, quality product.
This turkey fryer works as advertised. and I want to address the negative comments being posted about a 15-minute safety timer. For starters, safety is never inconvenient. for those reviewers posting negative comments about the 15-minute safety timer, why weren't you standing there while you were cooking your turkey or food in the first place? The manufacturer specifically states that for safety reasons, you need to attend this fryer constantly for safety reasons. Cooking a 15 pound turkey only takes an hour. Having to stand there and monitor temperature of your oil as well as ensuring that everything is safe is not an inconvenience unless you're a complete imbecile.The safety timer didn't cause me any problems whatsoever. I was present the entire time of the cooking process and needed to be there to monitor the temperature of the cooking oil anyway. I fail to see why making sure that the timer was fully wound every 15 minutes is such a heartache for some of these people reviewing this product.Perhaps they thought they were just going to put a full size turkey into the cooking oil and walk away?this product works as advertised and if someone has any common sense at all, they would know that cooking at high temperatures with boiling oil over an open flame is inherently dangerous and requires your full attention.Purchase this product with confidence, read the directions and follow the safety instructions provided and you will enjoy using this over and over again to prepare a delicious deep fried turkey.Obviously the negative comments were written by people who have very short attention spans as well as a high tolerance for dangerous activities.

15 minute safety timer?!
Seems to put out a decent amount of heat. Unfortunately it has a 15 minute safety timer that shuts the burner down if you don't reset it. Seriously inconvient! Additionally it arrived missing a screw. Wouldn't recommend.

This pot did not come with the basket that was clearly shown
The picture of the product shows a basket, which did not come in the box. This was very disappointing to us as this was one of the reasons we chose this one.

Do not buy
This is a bad fryer, it has a timer on it that will shut the propane off after 15 minutes and no way to change it.

Does not come with the basket like the picture shows

Gave as a gift to my son he was thrilled and makes low country boil with his. His wife likes to use it for boiling green peanuts
