This is a very sturdy piece. My husband is disabled and I needed something that would not tip over and he would feel safe when using it. We also use it in the shower. Very lightweight to move. I would recommend this to anyone.

I looked at this type product and I looked at toilet seat risers. I had been leaning toward the risers as they are less expensive. My wife saw both and requested that I buy this raised toilet seat for ease of cleaning. I bought it for post-hip surgery but because I was having so much trouble with my hip pre-surgery, I put it together (simple to do) and am using it for my sit-down visits while waiting for my operation. I also move it aside when not in use so others have a normal toilet to use. I'm thankful my wife chimed in. I am 6 foot tall and was able to set it right in the middle adjustment for a perfect distance (meaning you can be much taller and much shorter and still have a great benefit). I use it over our existing toilet and it is so very much easier to sit and to get up, I'll probably take my time weaning myself from it post surgery. It is very sturdy, very comfortable, and the difference in difficulty for sitting on and getting up from the seat is beyond description. I am extremely happy with this. We purchased two and I will put the other one together around my operation time to make another bathroom available. Glad I got them and it makes me slightly less anxious about how things will go post-operation.

We like the fact that it was adjustable high or low.The problem is the thin covering has split. I would like to purchase a replacement seat only. Otherwise we really like the product!!

This item works so well for my elderly husband. The commode we have is a regular height, not raised, so he had problems sitting down and getting up with his arthritic knees. Rather than replace the toilet, we purchased this item. Keeps him steady and safe. The Company was wonderful helping us to get a replacement seat when a few cracks appeared in the vinyl. I highly recommend this item and this company. You won't be disappointed!I just needed to submit an update on our toilet seat replacement. This company went over and beyond, shipping it in a very short time and keeping us informed of tracking and delivery emails. Very happy this this company.

my dad used it and he didnt have to struggle as much to stand up.

I love this seat. I injured my knee 2 years ago and i have been using it ever since. The seat covering is starting to wear now. I would love to just replace the seat but no company seems to sell just parts.

I got this raised seat for my mom. She is 85 and has dementia and I care for her full time. It wasn't hard to assemble at all and seemed pretty sturdy. We have had it for about 6 months now and I saw today that the vinyl covering on the padded seat has split. She is not an obese person and it was not abused. I was a bit surprised that, at this price point, this would happen. Maybe we got a bad one, but I am wary now and would not order this as a replacement, just in case.

We purchased this raised toilet chair for my Mom for when she returned home after rehab. The chair has worked wonderfully for her needs. After approximately 8-9 months of normal use small cracks/tears formed at the front edges of the foam cushion seat. I contacted the company and they quickly sent a replacement cushion at no cost to me! It arrived and was very easy to replace as it just snaps on. My mother is very happy.
