I’ve never had belts come apart in a few seconds of use before until now, I’m hoping the remainder will last until the end of the project, when they actually stay together they do the intended job.

Genauso steht in der Produktbeschreibung das es sich um 3 x Körnung 60, 80, 120, 150, 240, 400, 2 x Körnung 40 handelt.Bekommen habe ich aber 2x Körnung 40, 1x Körnung 60, 5x Körnung 80 und 3x Körnung 120,150,240,400.Ok das kann mal passieren aber was nicht passieren sollte, ist das man ein anderes Produkt bekommt mit stumpf verklebten Bändern! Diese halten nicht annähernd so gut wie überlappend geklebte!Bereits nach 30 sec schleifen sind 2 der 150er Körnung einfach an der Klebestelle auseinander gegangen!Selbst die billigsten Schleifbänder aus Polen haben da mehr ausgehalten.Fazit : die Bänder sind nicht das was man bestellt hat und einfach Müll!

As with any Chinese import sanding product, the grit ratings are completely wrong. What they call 240 is akin to 150 grit US. The construction of the belts is cheap. There's a detectable bump where the ends are sealed, and when the belt is spinning on your sander, you can't use the spindles for inside curves because that attachment point literally becomes a speed bump.When I compared the feel of the 240 belt to a genuine 3M 220 grit sheet of paper, the difference was noticeable. I moved up to the 400 on this package, but when it started bucking and bouncing my workpiece, I stopped right away because of the potential for damage.

Great assortment of sanding belt. I tested them on these 2 knives I forged and hardened made with1095 steel. They worked great both before quenching and also after hardening the steel. These belts are a great value and work well. SO far, I have re-ordered these twice and have made over a dozen knives using these belts. I do recommend also purchasing a good 600 or 800 grit separately for final grinds. I personally like the Red Label Abrasives https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DH0EZGU for the higher grit belts as I can get a 12 pack of the desired grit. However, I use these S SATC Sanding Belts 20 pack for EVERYTHING else.
