Is my first time using this item. And it’s great. I really recommend this to everyone that has an OSTOMY.

We have tried many Ostomy covers over the last year and this one is the easiest and least obvious of them all. It also helps that it has a waterproof lining just in case. The little draw string is nice to secure the cover to the pouch and allows for a more active lifestyle. We love that their are different colors that can match shirts for more discreet use.

Before getting an ostomy bag cover, I was very self conscious about going out in public as most of my shirts are not long enough to completely cover my ostomy bag. This bag completely obscures my ostomy bag and I don't think twice about it in public now. I am very active and wear an ostomy belt most of the time and I like that this ostomy bag cover has loops for the ostomy belt. The inside of the cover is waterproof and will contain any leakage from the ostomy bag. The outside is regular material (not waterproof), so it needs to be removed before showering. I have a 2 piece ostomy pouch system and occasionally get some slight leakage at the coupling, but the ostomy cover is easy to clean. It can be washed in a washing machine, but I usually just end up washing it by hand in my bathroom sink with dawn dish soap and a scrub brush and let it dry overnight on a towel rack. The snap opening in the back of the bag makes it very easy to empty your ostomy pouch without having to take the cover completely off. I highly recommend this ostomy cover and couldn't imagine going out in public without it now.

The product was useless. Fit poor and comes off easily.

I’ve used 3 of these pouch covers with mixed success. They are wonderful with Hollister 2 piece pouching systems that have plastic tabs, typically used for attaching a (optional) light-weight plastic belt around your abdomen. This cover has loops that hook easily on the belt, assuring the cover stays in place. I.E., doesn’t fall off at embarrassing times. The Hollister 1 piece ostomy bags that I’ve tried (and prefer because they are less likely to leak, at least in my case) do NOT have any plastic tabs for an abdominal belt, hence there’s no way I’ve found to keep these pouch covers from falling off. For the time being, I’m reduced to wearing unusually long shirts to reliably cover my bag. I cannot recommend this cover for the 1 piece Hollister bags I’ve used. As a note, the seller does need to add more colors for you 2 piece users.

Having an ostomy is not fun. Anything that can make me feel better about myself is a good thing. This cover fits perfectly and is attractive and was definitely designed by someone "in the know" as all of its components work perfectly. I have two in black and just placed an order for a maroon one. Easy care. Wash well. I would say keep two so you always have a clean one available.

Wish I'd listened to the reviews. It is not water proof. Don't be like me - do not buy.
