I don't understand reviewers who can't get past a little bad taste. I mean, man-up, or woman-up, as the case may be. Yes, the capsules have an unpleasant taste for a second when you place them on your tongue, but for goodness sakes, just swallow it! These capsules are truly effective. After the first bottle, I knew I wanted more. I thought about buying a cheaper enzyme, as these are somewhat costly, but decided that I should just continue using what works, and these do work. I did a little experiment in which I pulled apart a capsule and dropped it into a bowl of arroz caldo, a traditional Filipino soup my wife prepares (a somewhat viscous rice soup), and it literally, and I might add immediately, thinned the soup. Now, I don't know exactly how this soup is made thick, but I was quite impressed. If these enzymes can transform the consistency of soup, I feel pretty confident that it works reasonably well to help break down food in the GI tract. Having said that, the true test is always in the way you feel, and this product works wonders for digestion. I can feel the difference.

Ok I never write reviews but I feel like I want to help out everyone who has struggled with IBS, intolerances, etcThis stuff is LEGIT. I have only had two other times in my whole life (32) that I didn’t “feel my stomach” and now I have a third. I take one like 10 mins before I eat and I literally didn’t know life could be like this. I feel full but not “thanksgiving full” as those who struggle feel even after eating like 1 raisin - and I just feel….calm? Like my whole life has been masking the chronic stomach pain I constantly feel and now I can be NORMAL.I’ve been on elimination diets, been tested for everything - but I think I just have a weak digestive track so this is like my little team of soldiers who help mash that food along and send my body the nutrients correctly instead of …well, IBS-ing them out :/Get these. I recommend this to literally anybody. For years I’ve been having serious debilitating pain in my stomach with nothing on my tests. Finally they did an uncommon scan and found my gallbladder wasn’t working properly. A year later I finally had it taken out, only to have the most insane indigestion! I started taking two of these every time I ate, have had no problems since then! I don’t have to take them as often now, although it would probably be best to do so anyway. Especially with heavier foods! We could all benefit from enzymes to support digestion, it likely could have supported my gallbladder so much sooner had I known!!

The capsules work really great but I got 24 capsules and paid for 90 capsules. This is not a good company. They ripped me off.

These enzymes are specifically designed for those who have celiac. It took me years and much suffering and embarrassment at work to discover that there were enzymes which could help my condition. Though my antibodies tested negative (I had not been eating any gluten for a month to test positive for the test I took) my doc and I suspected still that I had celiac when I revealed I had a full body rash after eating wheat bread for a month along with intestinal pain right after ingestion, mucus in my stool, and rhinitis and throat spasms. It definitely eases those symptoms along with assistance in digesting meats, fats, beans, lactose, and cruciferous vegetables. I have trouble with dairy and beans and cruciferous vegetables and some nightshades like tomatoes as well. I take a low level probiotic with these (and other enzyme brands) 2-3 enzyme pills a day. While its best to avoid gluten and a future risk for cancer these pills help for a wide spectrum of foods.

I've found that as I get older, I'm developing for sensitivity issues. First hops in beer, and now dairy. Maybe gluten, but who knows..After trying my wife's enzymes at a pizza place, I felt much better that I would have otherwise and didn't wake up the next morning with gas pain and several trips to the loo.The relief in symptoms would make me believe these work and I'll continue using them.
