I love this grill/smoker!
I bought this grill in 2023, but I was not inspired until I had to replace a part this past week. I googled the error code, contacted the manufacturer, and I had a replacement part within a few days. With less than an hour of work, it was replaced, and I was back up and running. I have made amazing steaks, brisket, chicken, and veggies with this smoker. It’s so easy to use, and it does a great job. The one tip I would give anyone is to get the cover for it to keep it dry when it rains, because rain can break down the pellets and cause them to burn, instead of smoking, but I absolutely would recommend this grill to anyone who wants something they can just “fuel and forget” with great results!

An Honest Review by Brandon
Well ladies and gents, if you are anything like me, love to grill and smoke food, been wanting to get ahold of that Traeger but hate the price point, been told the best in the world is a pellet grill to get that mid ground of smoking and grilling, well I am going to disappoint you with this. First I would never buy it again. For so many reasons, and just to let you know, I gave it away for free to someone who wanted a grill. To start with they say it will sear, it does NOT get hot enough to sear. Even when pulling the sear shield deal out the way, it simply does not get hot enough. As a matter of fact there is a temperature it will reach and turn itself off.Was extremely thrilled with the design awaiting the light colored smoke to come plowing out of the chimney. Yeah that smoke came out of everywhere, this thing does not seal at all. It is literally a flat on flat surface where it closes. So smoke just plows out of everywhere.Quirky as all get out with error codes, which had me restarting the thing to get it going.Nothing is flush, as in the construction is absolutely terrible down to the doors. Literally one side is half inch higher than the other side.Packaging, I would almost bet they pride theirselves on because how compacted it is and nothing moves. Have fun with unpacking it as many parts do not want to come out and are shoved into eachother.I literally do not have 1 good thing to say about this grill. Everything was dry, even low temps and a water pan, why? Because the whole thing is aired, as in not sealed. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I don't do pictures on here but I sure do wish I took one of these before giving it away, cause it would literally be one of those meme pictures of a smoker with smoke pouring out of every inch of the grill.

Awesome!
It's a good budget grill/ smoker . Good for beginners. Sturdy , looks good, I like compact size. It's does flare up past set temp when new pellets are drop in fire box with the grill temp prob. Then of course goes back to set temp, with separate temp prob in meat didnt seem to effect it temp went up gradually. Other then that me likes , meats turn out delicious!

Excellent
Product shipped quickly. The packaging was well secured, it took longer to unwrap and expose product then it was to assemble with great instructions. First light, perfect, first burn perfect. First smoke of 2 pork chops with dry rub, delicious 😋 This 600 is perfect size for 2 to probably 8 people. On a 32° evening it took about 20 minutes more then expected to get chops to 145° and 10 minutes to get to 450° for a good sear on meat.

Good value in the smoker market but not great.
I have used this smoker for over a year it was my first pellet smoker and over all it has done an acceptable job for the price. Set up was simple enough looks nice but the storage underneath gets really hot so store with caution. Temp control is poor and can swing by up to 20 degrees in one way. Build quality is good but I have some concerns about quality control. Paint on the lids started to bubble and eventually flaked leaving rust. To be fair could have been caused by a flare up... I always cover my smoker. However when I looked for a a replacment and couldn't find one I ended up reaching out to Z Grill and was told I would be shipped a replacment. Had to call back after a few days because I had seen no email or indication of shipping and was told it was out of stock. I still haven't received that part though I was told it would only take a month or 2. Over 6 months later I've lost the effort to care. I would happily have purchased one but couldn't find it anywhere. Finally performance which is good for the price but leaves a lot to be desired. Using a smoke tube helped me achieve acceptable results for long cooks (poor smoke production). Grease control is very poor for the advertised cook volume. If overloaded grease can poor into the storage or through cracks of the grill. Not a problem when not overloaded but don't except to use all the volume if that is the case. I ran into trouble with even 14 lbs briskets... So it works but not amazing as a starter it could serve. I paid about 360 on sale and would not pay more and am concerned by lack of replacment parts avaliable. If you are serious about smoking I'd look at nicer options if possible, if the budget doesn't allow more this is serviceable with a little work.

Excellent buy for the money.
As I continue to downsize I decided to do the same with my grill. Propane was going up so decided to try a pellet grill/smoker. This little wonder is great. Easy to use, performs well and so far has done an excellent job on burgers, steaks, chicken, pork ribs and skin-on salmon fillets. Still learning a few tricks, but that's part of the fun of going from gas to wood pellets. I'm very satisfied with this grill.
