This 28cm sauteuse from Le Creuset is a beautiful pan. It’s well-engineered, and sturdy - as you would hope from such a high end, big name brand. The base is thick and heats evenly and efficiently, so this cooks really well and is beautifully controllable.The large size and twin-handled design is versatile and easy to use between hob top and oven. The glass lid doesn’t have a steam vent - I prefer this, though I know that not everyone does.The non-stick surface works perfectly and feels thick, as though it should last really well if used carefully. This is an expensive pan, but well worth it.I bought one to put by for my little brother’s Christmas present and was so pleased with it I got one for myself as well. I’m definitely planning to invest in more cookware from this range.Comes in just its own box unless gift options are selected.

As expected.. good addition to my humble kitchen

Bought this mainly for a family member who's visually impaired so they can stir food easily whilst cooking and have plenty of room so that it doesn't spill.Good excuse for me to use it though! It's a lovely pan, nice non- stick and a well-fitting lid. I made the sauce for a lasagne in it the other day and it was plenty big enough for my huge batch cooking and the large surface area meant that it cooked really well. The nice lid keeps all the moisture in and ensures that the food doesn't dry out and retains all the flavour.We've also tried it as a casserole dish and it performed brilliantly and cooked a veggy casserole with dumplings really fast! It's easy to clean too. Love the versatility of being able to use it on the stove top and in the oven.

Le Creuset are very well manufactured pans and saucepans. If you look after them they will last a decade or two. I have a Le Creuset cast iron griddle pan that is 3 decades old and used regularly still.

Great product well made and good quality

Item itself is great. Packaging was sticky with coffee spills. As this is a gift and cost nearly £150 I would expect quality control to pick this up.No way of contacting Amazon other than to request a returnPoor customer service

Really good

This, we thought, was our perfect pan. The name, its size and shape - ideal.Sadly though it turned out not to be and a big thank you to Amazon for sorting things out.It scratched up within a few uses. Simple as that.I was cooking keema using plastic tools. The only hard thing I can think of was whole spices but otherwise, nothing. As a toughened non-stick coating, it is highly disappointing for the surface to attract damage in such a way.I contacted Amazon and to their credit, they took me at my word and refunded my purchase.Whether this was a particularly soft coating, I do not know, and whether a retailer other than Amazon would have been so understanding, I do not know either. I doubt they would.
