Only dash cam I’ll ever own
This is genuinely a fantastic product. Super quick and easy to install, fast recording speed, amazing picture quality, and looks absolutely OEM on the car. No ugly suction cup or wires dangling down just pure form and function

Easy to install and blends in with the car great
The media could not be loaded. So far only used this for a day but it’s the easiest dashcam I’ve installed and vey impressed with the OEM-like look. Easy to access videos. The connectivity for live video in the app is slightly annoying to connect to the camera WiFi but standard for these dashcams. I like the simple but robust functionality available to adjust in the app.

Perfect fit for the Polestar 2, but software and video quality leave something to be desired.
This is a nice looking camera, the installation is easy for the Polestar 2, and it taps power from the auto-dimming-mirror/Homelink power connection so there's no need to run a power cord externally (which I would always be concerned about in case of a crash and the airbags deploy). In addition, the software, though basic, is functional for downloading the clips wirelessly (albeit somewhat slowly) and changing a couple of settings. No advanced features such as license plate recognition, detection, etc. When installed, the camera is basically invisible and barely obscures vision through the windshield. My main gripe is that although the camera works well during the day, at night the poor dynamic range of the camera (combined with the relatively bright headlights on the Polestar 2) causes pretty much any reflective surface to be washed out and illegible. Although the overall video is of nice quality, the license plate of the vehicles ahead of you tend to be illegible at night. This somewhat defeats the purpose of having such a dash cam to begin with at night. I would greatly prefer a version perhaps with lower resolution, but higher dynamic range (e.g. fewer but larger pixels).

Factory look, ez install, great support
There is a lot to like about the fitcamx. I recently installed one in my Polestar 2 and I am very pleased with the results.First off, if you want something that looks like it came from the factory, there is simply no better choice. This goes beyond hiding the wires to a seamless design.Installation is also very simple, especially if you can use mirror wiretap as with the Polestar. These are popular enough that you will likely find online instructions and videos specific to your vehicle. I had front and rear done in less than an hour, running wire to rear representing the bulk of that time.Video quality is excellent. I have several dashcams from various brands, this is as good as any of them. I won't say it is the best you can buy, but it is more than adequate for 95% of people and use cases. The app works well.I am also impressed with Fitcam support. I did have an issue with rear camera interfering with FM. I contacted support and the immediately sent out a replacement. The one thing that this does not have, which is an important feature to many people, is GPS tracking / logging. Thus, when you review video it does not include that information.

Super basic functionality and camera quality.
The biggest pro is it does integrate nicely with the car’s interior. It definitely looks OEM and I’m sure most open would have a really hard time even noticing it was there. That said, the features on the camera and app are super basic for the price. You basically have manual and impact detected recording while the car is in and that is absolutely it. Further, the image quality is mediocre at best. It definitely doesn’t look as clear as bigger name brands out there. Overall, I wouldn’t purchase this again for the price. There are way better options out there which look pretty discrete and have relatively simple installations as well.

Looks like it came with the car
I bought this for my 2021 Polestar 2. It was really easy to install and it looks like it was made for the car. Other reviewers have noted the quality and lack of features compared to other dash cams on the market. I agree with those reviews; however, I really just wanted something to help mitigate any insurance fraud if I'm involved in an accident. This captures a good enough view through the windshield and it's very unobtrusive.

False advertising.
Utter trash. The only good thing about it is it looks stock, but it is not 4k. Not even close. It's a blurry mess that's upscaled to 4k dimensions. Good luck capturing any detail whatsoever.

Check your recordings.
It fits nicely. That’s the only plus point.Wi-Fi does not respect a changed password. Device always reverts to the default password.SD card supplied is a 64Gb by KIOXIA. No, I’ve never heard of them either.I wanted to check the recordings, as someone cut me up. I was shocked to find nothing was being saved.Formatted SD card. Noticed it shows up as only 2Gb.Put SD card in PC, and i see that there are some files still on it from September. Try formatting the SD card with the PC and it fails with errors. Also unable to delete any of the files. Seems the cheap SD card is bad.Overall, not pleased with this purchase. Can’t rely on it.
