Absolutely in love
I adore this ink! I love teal/turquoise, but am a little particular about the shade. I was so happy to find this colour to be spot on for me. It's such a neat way to express yourself in a world of typical black and navy blue inks, but subtle enough to not punch you in the face or seem out of place on a formal document.I purchased an ink syringe to load it into my fountain pen cartridges, which made the process ridiculously fast and clean. I used the refillable pump cartridges a few times and it was just too messy for me, especially with this ink which will stain anything it touches (not counting the sink or countertop if you wipe it up quickly enough). So as with all good pigments, be careful not to get it on something where you don't want it.Beyond the gorgeous colour, the quality is also outstanding. It is so smooth, doesn't feather, bleed, smear, rub on your hand or gunk things up, and the flow blows me away at how ready it always is to write. You know how some inks take forever while drawing annoying little circles to start the flow, or how you have to prompt it again after setting the pen down for a minute? This one is just there, ready and waiting. I once accidentally left it in a pen for a couple months without use (I know, please forgive my sin), picked it up, and it started writing almost immediately! Seriously impressed.I've gone multiple years at uni writing full essays and filling whole notebooks using this ink and have yet to find fault with it! I haven't even gone through half of the bottle! I was a little leery of getting it at first, for reasons I honestly can't even remember now, because I just couldn't be happier with this ink!

A very Pretty turqioise
Writes well with a glass dip pen and med/fine nibs. The saturation is perfect. Dries true to color. Definitely worth the price.

For a different color.
Syo-ro is a beautiful "Teal" color that shows well on the page. Pilot Iroshizuku inks are high quality writing inks.

Pilot Syo-ro ink is a beautiful, well-behaved ink
Pilot Syo-ro ink is a beautiful, well-behaved ink. It's the color of blue spruce boughs after rain: a slightly gray blue/green. It's a lovely, rich, subtle color that is a joy to write with. So far I've used it with a Japanese fine nib, a fine Italic nib, and a wet European medium nib. It works well with all three.Ever since it arrived six weeks ago, I've had at least one pen inked with it. It's extremely readable. It has become my go-to blue ink.If you love very bright vibrant colors, you may want to try a sample before buying a whole bottle. You might prefer a less muted color. (Goulet Pens sells samples, and maybe other online vendors do, too..) (In fact, sampling first is never a bad idea, since color preferences are such a personal matter.) But I wholeheartedly endorse this as a beautiful, usable ink that is a little bit out of the ordinary.Even the bottle is beautiful and practical.

Gorgeous ink that changes colors when it goes from wet to dry
I'm a newbie to the fountain pen world so I've been experimenting with inks, and the Syo-Ro is so far my favorite, next to Diamine Skull & Roses and the Emerald of Chivor. When you lay down a line, it's a pretty blue; when it dries, it settles into a gorgeous soft green. I honestly find myself writing/doodling just for the sake of it so that I can watch the color transformation. It reminds me of the ocean, how it is endless shades of blue and green. I've inked my Jinhao sea shell 8802 fountain pen with Syo-Ro; a perfect pairing, in my opinion. If you are a person who gets lost in the nuances of color, get this ink!

Nothing special for the price, decent Montblanc Blue Hour dupe
This ink starts as a lovely teal blue color, and dries a muted green. It does an actual color change on the page which is fun, but I prefer the original color to the somewhat dull and unexceptional shade it dries to.This ink is very similar to Montblanc Blue Hour, though Blue Hour changes color to a slightly more vibrant blue-green and shades better. I ended up keeping the Blue Hour and selling the Syo-Ro as I just didn't feel I got enough pleasure from this ink to justify the high cost.As legendary as the iro line is, I have inks I like more that cost less including Montblanc Blue Hour. It's well behaved, but the color doesn't have any special dimension to it, nothing to make it stand out. The Sailor inks I've tried have been superior (to my tastes) to the Iro inks I've tried.
