They're so cute when they're little.
Alright, who else stopped dead in their tracks as soon as they saw an Elite Bouncer for the first time in Bioshock?*raises hand*That being said, it's great that they made a figure of this take on the Big Daddy, as he's a tad bit more menacing than the standard one. Just look at that harpoon! I unfortunately held off on buying the Bioshock figures last year when they were easily available because I hadn't played either of the games. But here I am just a few weeks after beating it, scurrying to get all of them before the prices hike up. The Elite Bouncer here is the first one I've picked up, and he's a heck of a figure. These may look good in the stock pictures, but seeing it for yourself is a whole other story. It looks like they used some kind of machine to pull the game model out of Bioshock, shrink it down, and *poof!* you have a figure! The Elite Bouncer stands at about 7 inches tall and has some weight to him. He's articulated at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper legs, lower legs and feet. Surprisingly, you can get some really funny poses out of him, though he'll need to be propped up if you want him to be kept in the pose. Otherwise, a regular standing pose is what he'll be stuck in most of the time. It's understandable though given the design and how the Bouncers were in the game. There's nothing to be said about the sculpt, since it's pretty much perfect. There have been some complaints about the 'grill' over his head being bent, but I've never seen one straight like how it looks in the stock picture. It looks like something that just got changed to give the Big Daddy a more weathered look. The tanks on his back are removable and fairly sturdy. Just don't try twisting the pieces on top of these since they don't turn and could break. I don't have any complaints as far as the paint goes either. NECA has done a pretty poor job in this category for a long time, but everything looks good here.Things that could've made this figure better? I really wish a Little Sister had been included. It seems like a big miss not having one packed in with the Big Daddy figures. The only other thing to improve would be having the 'eyes' light up, like the regular Big Daddy figure had. Granted, there was a standard Bouncer before a light-up feature one was made, yet Mr. Elite got nothing. Oh well, these don't hurt the score I'm giving it. Mr. Bubbles in Elite form looks fantastic and is a great addition to any toy collection. Get him while he's still available for a reasonable price.

I can't believe it!
I am astonished by how this one action figure, that I picked up in a clearance bin at Toys R Us(for only 7 dollars mind you), has sky rocketed in value over that last three years. I really lucked out. I'm very happy that I got it when I did, or I would never forgive myself.

Great Figure
This is a great figure for any Bioshock enthusiast. I already had the regular Bouncer figure, but when I saw the Elite, I knew I had to have it. The figure has great detail, with accurate pitting and cracked portholes, and at 1.9 pounds, is incredibly weighty and solid. I found it a little unusual that Neca chose to make this character in the design of the Elite from Bioshock 2 (which is dark grey and red as opposed to the distinctive white and red from the original Bioshock) considering there is only one or two elites in the whole game, but it doesn't distract from the overall appeal of the figure, and I doubt anyone but a hardcore fan like me would even notice! The only gripe I have is that it cost me $60 when my friend bought the same figure from Toys R Us for $20. I don't know if this was a sale or what, but check there first!
