Love this brush - replaced an old one that disappeared. Bristles are soft enough to not scratch finer surfaces but firm enough to get dust and leaves off outdoor surfaces. I rinse and dry it and also use it indoors on finer wood surfaces as well. Wish the handle was slightly longer and thicker but that's just me. It works perfectly well. Buying the oiled handle is the way to go so if it gets left out doors in the weather or gets wet or dirtied from cleaning solutions, it doesn't degrade the wood. Definitely worth it.

The quality of the horse hair in the German made brush is perfect for removing tiny dust from paper that I use to make 17 inch by 22 inch prints on a very high end Canon ink jet printer. Highly recommend this brush.

This is a well made tool. It's not just a sweep its a well crafted shop tool and it works great. The bristles are soft yet push even fine sawdust out of the way. Every shop needs one. I particularly like the Redecker website. They make a variety of household and personal brushes and everything looks very well constructed.

I have tried every type of duster to clean my books - feather, lambswool, microfiber, and none of them have worked as well as this horsehair brush. It has the just the right amount of friction and the hairs get into the grooves as if it were designed specifically for cleaning books. I'm sure it's great for a lot of other applications too, but I was blown away by how great it is for books which are notoriously difficult to dust. Bravo!

Top quality horsehair dustpan brush as had been advertised! And, the price was right and also justified.I'm very happy with the purchase.

I like the feel of the bush handle and ease of use to hold while using. Unfortunately, as some previous reviewers mentioned, a lot of bristles are lost while using. Once I actually thought my hair was falling out because I would find stray bristles all over the carpet but then noticed that they were all the same length and rigid in appearance. So, who knows how long the brush will last….

My husband makes quite a lot of chips and sawdust in the shop. He grouses every time the plastic brushes get static and hold plastic chips, or split and hold metal chips.The bristles on this brush move debris into the dustpan with no static or frayed, melted ends. Nice reduction in grousing!
