Will the blanket make me hot or cause me to sweat a lot?

I prefer sleeping cold but haven't had a problem. I did try it for a couch nap on a warm day and it got too hot but at night in the Bay Area it's fine. If you find it too warm try putting it over a lightweight comforter. It sounds dumb but if the comforter is breathable it'll give a layer against any sweaty clamminess from the less-breathable glass bead blanket.

No. I bought my blanket this past December. I also purchased the duvet cover to go with it. Well this morning, June 8th 2019, as I was taking off the duvet cover to wash it, I see beads everywhere. I have been online trying to find customer service and have been having no luck.

If you cotton weighted blanket is too hot for you, maybe you should try the bamboo series, which it specifically designed for hot sleepers.

If the blanket is for 2 people for instance in a king sized bed, how do you choose the weight? 120 lb female, 160 lb male.

I think you're better off getting 2 of the twin sized blankets in the weights that you need. Otherwise you'd need a 30lb blanket and the biggest one available because the weight is distributed all over the blanket, ie if you pick up half the blanket to get under it, it's only going to weigh half of the total weight. So a 20lb would only be 10lbs on each of you, too little.
