LUCKY TIGER Disappearing Cream After Shave Cream 12oz

What can you really say about aftershave? This is different. I recently switched to a double edge blade and chucked the old Mach 3. Much more cost effective, a better shave, and less irritation too. Can't lose with that. I've always used alcohol-based aftershaves like Old Spice, and I still like them, but they tend to leave my face with a reddish look and occasionally itchy and irritated. I decided I might do better to invest in something better, so I gave this a try because I love the refreshing kick of menthol after a shave. Lucky Tiger is pretty much that. It's thick and a little crumbly -- you dig out a big gunk of it on the edge of your fingers, rub it flat, and rub it in. The menthol kick is present, but somewhat subdued, which is fine. There's not much of a lingering smell like a traditional aftershave, but like I said, this is different. Not old school, new school. My face looks excellent and feels ultra-smooth after using this, it's a big step up from alcohol-based aftershave for sure. I do believe I am sold on this stuff, so as long as they keep making it, I'll buy it.

This stuff works well; been using it a month or so. It is like the kid brother to Vicks VapoRub--the menthol doesn't last more than a few minutes. I use it very sparingly, otherwise it doesn't "disappear." It can leave a few little specks or a little residue if you apply too much. On the up side, this jar should last well over a year.

This cream is very useful when you don't stand those strong fragrances that usually comes with regular shaving creams.It leaves your face very smooth and you can feel some medical effect due to its menthol feeling.Only complaint is that it isn't full disappearing. You have to be very careful whipping off any excess of cream. If not, your face will show a lot of white spots and lines.Anyway I will keep buying this Lucky Tiger Cream. It does my face good.

I love this stuff. My barber used it when giving me a shave. I asked her what she was applying to my face after she removed my beard, she told me Lucky Tiger Disappearing Cream. I immediately bought a tub of it and use it after every shave. Outstanding product, smells good, and makes my face feel great after a shave.

I love the name and I like to try less known product because at times there are diamonds in the rough. This product is similar to Proraso Pre-shave Cream (refresh) in texture and smell, except for me, the proraso product is superior in comparison. The texture is not as creamy and the smell is not as pleasant, but it gets the job done and for the price, you can give it a try.

Found this product through barber shop while at college. Was impressed with it there and had to find it. Just apply to face before shave apply hot face towel for about 30secs and this product really allows pours to open up and the razor takes the hairs off like a hot knife through butter. After wipe off access and use cold water to close pours. Great product extremely happy

I can only describe this as “interesting”…unlike any aftershave product I have used before. There is a lot in the container.

I encountered this at a beard barber shop in Florida and found it to be really soothing after a shave, especially when sensitive to blades around my neck. It smells great and soothes my skin. Lasts a while too so good value for money.

Is ok but my skin got greasy about 3 hours after use. i use arko now instead.

Da ich eine empfindliche Haut nach der Rasur habe probiere ich diverse After Shave Cremes und Balsame aus.Schön beim Öffnen der Dose riecht sie sehr stark nach einfachem Menthol, also nach Wicks oder Zahnpasta. Die Disappearing Cream ist von der Konsistenz her anders als viele andere After Shave Cremes. Es ist eher eine dicke, harte Paste, welche Zwischen den Fingern weich gerieben wird und dann im Gesicht verteilen lässt.Der Kühleffekt ist sehr gut und noch stärker als z.B. die  Proraso Aftershave Eucalyptus und Menthol .Allerdings zieht die Creme nicht besonders gut ein, sie trocknet etwas fest und hinterlässt eine leichte weisse Kruste welche z.B. mit kaltem Wasser abgespült werden muss - Kälteschock garantiert. ;) Bzw. zieht sie sehr langsam ein und muss nach 5 bis 10 Minuten "nachbearbeitet" werden.Die Haut sieht danach tatsächlich schön samtig und glatt aus und fühlt sich beim anfassen nicht klebrig oder gerötet an.Trotzdem ist die Dissapearing Cream von Lucky Tiger meines Erachtens die Pflegewirkung nicht ganz so gut wie z.B. bei der  Proraso Aftershave Creme , das Gesicht selbst fühlt sich noch etwas angespannt und gereizt an, nicht komplett von der Rasur erholt.Die Creme von Proraso rettet da meiner Ansicht nach beispielsweise deutlich mehr.Alles in allem trotzdem eine tolle, sehr ergiebige After Shave Creme mit einigen NachteilenTrotzdem benutz ich sie gerne, vor allem im Sommer. :) Proraso Aftershave Eucalyptus und MentholProraso Aftershave Creme

Ich kann mich den positiven Rezensionen größtenteils anschließen.Die Creme hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sie kühlt angenehm und versorgt die Haut anscheinend auch mit Feuchtigkeit: Mein Gesicht fühlt sich nach der Rasur noch den ganzen Tag gut an.Auch die ungewohnte Konsistenz der Creme würde mich überhaupt nicht stören – wenn sie denn homogen wäre! Leider enthält meine lauter kleine Stückchen, die auch beim Verreiben zwischen den Händen und auf dem Gesicht nicht "schmelzen" wie der Rest. Diese bleiben dann auf dem Gesicht hängen; sie "verschwinden" nicht und müssen nochmal extra einmassiert werden. Wenn man Bart trägt, bleibt auch darin nach dem Trocknen ein weißer Rückstand der Creme zurück; nicht jedoch auf glatter Haut.Aus diesem Grund von mir nur eine eingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.
