I bought my wife a rugged tablet. It's a little thicker, a little heavier than a regular Android tablet, and a normal cover wouldn't work. Possibly a large universal tablet cover would work. She wouldn't need a rugged tablet but this one had other specs she wanted like a 22000 mAh battery. We use our tablets a lot daily for study, research, and entertainment. She finds the tablet plus this stand a little bulky and inconvenient but I think that's because the tablet itself is large and heavy.The stand itself is good quality. It has several angle settings and holds even a larger tablet well. I may get myself the same tablet in which case I would buy this stand for it also.

I have an ipad 12.9" so it's a tiny bit big for this stand, but it's still fairly sturdy. I got it for my desk to work (I'm an illustrator) and it's works for the most part. It'll tip a bit when I press on the top, but it's not a deal breaker. So if you have a smaller item, then it'll be fantastic for that. It's made of some kind of metal, so feels quite nice overall.I'd say it's not a bad little stand given everything. A tiny bit overpriced, but seems like everything is now. At least it's still decent quality.

Simple stand, well made, portable and functional. Wish it would hold the ipad better at a lower angle but not a big deal.
