Adorable, but a duplicates were a bummer
This was very cute and my nephew loved it, but there were so many duplicate characters that he started to get a little bummed. He got one character and would then get an identical one with sparkles, or with a very tiny difference. Not even sure there is a difference with the two Ironman figures in there. So many marvel characters, it’s a bit disappointing that they couldn’t have more variety.

Super disappointing! Total waste of money.
Our family does advent calendars every year, and has done Funko calendars for the last 3 years. The previous Funko advent calendars have all been great. Adorable figures and none are doubles. They had a few that were the same characters, but they were at least in different poses or something. This calendar was SO disappointing. Most of the figures were just boring and ugly(gingerbread characters), but what's worse is that there were SO MANY doubles. I know they are supposedly different figures, because technically the colors on one of them would be ever so slightly brighter. But they were literally the same character, same pose, same outfit, etc. So unless you pay extremely close attention, they look like exactly the same thing. There were also a couple that were doubles and the only difference was glitter. There were 3 of the ugliest Captain marvel figures ever and 2 ugly Scarlet witch figures, all but 2 of which were covered in obnoxious copper colored glitter. We collect these mini Funkos, and I still threw the glitter Captain Marvels and Scarlet Witch straight in the trash, that is how bad they were. Whoever came up with what would be in this advent calendar really did an awful lazy job. I hope this is not what their calendars are going to be like from now on, or we will have to find something else to buy instead of Funko. I do not recommend this to anyone and I wish I had not wasted my time and money on it either.

Happy high-priced (but cheap), uncreative Christmas from Marvel and Funko!
*Slight Spoilers*For this price we expected 24 different cool holiday-themed figures (not much to ask). Instead we’ve received 2 pair of exact duplicate figures, and several near duplicates (for example: Captain America Snowman, and Captain America Snowman with *glitter*)! I bought this to open with my daughter daily as she opens her Funko Disney Advent Calendar; her super-awesome Disney calendar is making my Marvel calendar look anemic and weak. The Disney figures are superior in every way. And no cheap doubles! The Marvel set? Sooooooo much gingerbread! Ack!Funko is generally a quality product. But this set lacks imagination an FUN! Some manager at Funko or Marvel licensing should have put the brakes on this cheapie set and made it right. If you really want a decent Marvel Advent set, seek out the Marvel 75th Anniversary set from a few years back. Classic figures, no doubles, no gingerbread. High quality, and can be picked up at a decent price if you look around (currently $52 on Amazon - worth every penny!Come on Funko and Marvel! You can do so much better.

Great calendar
I came on here to give this a bad review. The cost was really high but we figured for the name brand the items would be quality. We were super pleased with the quality each day but 23 days in and we have three exact duplicates (we don't consider the glitter ones to be duplicates. I mean exact copies of three of them). I started to read other reviews to see if other people got duplicates and someone said the exact copy duplicates one of them is glow in the dark. Took the duplicates in a dark room and sure enough three of the ones we thought were exact duplicates were glow in the dark which makes them unique. Much happier with the set knowing this and am writing a review in hopes someone else checks theirs and realizes there are 24 unique ones.

Several duplicates, but worth the sale price
I got this on sale for under $30 (half off the list price), which is less than $1.25 per mini pop. So it's totally worth it even though there are some duplicates. The pop designs are all very cute, as we can expect from Funko. So many gingerbreads - The gingerbread characters are all right, but there were quite a few of them -- 13 I think, out of 24, so more than half. A few would be fine, but at that count I thought that style was overdone. I would've preferred more non-gingerbread Christmas-themed pops. Many repeat characters - There are just 11 unique characters of the 24 pops. There are so many Marvel characters, so getting 3 Thors, 3 baby Groots, 3 Captain Americas (Steve Rogers), 3 Spider-Mans, 2 Thanoses, 2 Captain Marvels, 2 Scarlet Witches, 2 Iron Mans, 2 Hulks... that's a lot of the same characters! (The only unique characters are Black Panther and Rocket.) Instead of the same characters twice (or thrice), I would have loved to see some other characters like Loki, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Bucky, Dr. Strange, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Falcon or Captain America (Sam Wilson), etc.The duplicates are frustrating. Yes, the duplicates technically have some minor differences so they're not exactly identical; one snowman Captain America has glitter and the other doesn't, for instance. But I'd still call them duplicates. Again, there are so many awesome Marvel characters, I would've liked to see some other ones rather than duplicates. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this.Unfortunately, Funko hasn't figured out all the figure balance issues. The baby Groot in the flower pot can't stay up on its own, for instance, so I'll need to put something underneath it for balance.
