How do you move the screw to the lower hole on the clamp?

The flat sided thing on the end of the part that screws in can be popped off so you can move it. Hope that helps!

Does the music stop automatically after a certain period of time?

I’ve had this music box for about two weeks now; since having it, I have not heard the music stop unless you turn it off yourself.

Can this be set up to just to rotate and not play music?

I have purchased this — you cannot have it to only rotate without music. Bummer.
