Easy to fit and effective device to secure a door by blocking the handles movement which can be quickly reversed to free up the handles movement again . The supplier recommends that you leave the device for 24hrs to allow the item to stick , time will tell .

Ah, the Plastic Child Proof Door Lock. What a marvel of modern design and engineering... said no one ever. My father would say it’s as much use as a chocolate teapot, and I wholeheartedly agree. This contraption promised to keep our little ones at bay, but instead, it’s as effective as a paper umbrella in a hurricane.We decided to use these on our bedroom doors, thinking we'd finally have a bit of peace and privacy. But let me tell you, this lock didn’t last longer than a New Year’s resolution. It was like installing a 'keep out' sign made of wet tissue paper. One jiggle from our toddler, and it fell apart faster than a house of cards in a wind tunnel.

I followed the instructions but it kept falling off when my little one trying to open the door. I reinstalled it using the second one from the package, still falling off. Don't bother with this product.
