Best sound and battery life we have found for the price. Everyone wants to get the best value for their dollar. I have found it with this speaker ….. oh and the color scheme fits our theme daily. Charging is easy, connects to any type of device Bluetooth wise. Does not take up a lot of space. But you need to keep it out of the direct light as much as possible. It will get to hot and stop playing properly.

I've had a JBL Extreme for 10 years. Replaced the battery 3 years ago - and I still love this speaker. I found this Boom Box 3 here on Amazon recently and did some research. Big bass and excellent battery life; it arrived a few days later.I keep the BB3 on my desk. At low volume it satisfies; bass is bumpin' and the sound is overall JBL quality. Sure, it's a bit heavy to walk around with, however, it's not built for that right? I'd consider this "My" stereo replacement for my Apt.I wouldn't hesitate to take it to a party in someone's yard.... yes, it's that good. When this JBL was first released it was $500 and can be found for much less on Amazon. I paid in the $350 range and I have no buyer's remorse whatsoever.

I spent a lot of time comparing portable Bluetooth speakers. I was looking for a speaker that had plenty of bass. It is hard to determine if a speaker has good bass or not. Online reviews are often misleading, and many companies (like Sony and Bose) don't publish a speaker's frequency response range. JBL does, and this speaker has a range of 40 Hz to 20k Hz. This "boombox" speaker has a great sound, plenty of base, and true stereo. This speaker is a little pricey and a bit heavy compared to other speakers (14.7 lbs.), but the quality of the sound makes it all worth it.If you are trying to decide between this speaker and another, then visit "rtings.com" which does a nice job of comparing two different speakers. If this speaker is too heavy, then I suggest looking into the JBL Xtreme 4, which also has a good frequency response range, only weighs 4.6 lbs., and has a replaceable battery (nice).Still, this speaker is exactly what I was looking for and I highly recommend it!

We go everywhere with this speaker, on a boat, to the parks. Inside parties , the quality of the sound is excellent, and the Bluetooth connection is smoothly connected in seconds, the battery life is excellent

Great sound. It's big so prepare yourself, it's a little heavy. The sound quality is very good and fills the room. It's definitely not surround sound so don't expect that kind of experience, but it does project well and fills the space with music.
