Works with DUPLO legos
These work with Legos! For those saying they don't stand on their own...they're not made to. They're made to attach to Legos. My son absolutely loves these!

They are unable to stand up on their own when the arm is down. It just falls over

These are poorly made. When you put the crossing gate down, it tips over due to the weight. It can’t stay straight across.

Great addition to railroad or construction car sets
These barricade gates are just the right size for wooden ikea/brio train sets or die cast cars. My son loves pretend playing with cars, setting up road hazards and construction sites and railroad crossings. Unfortunately these crossing gates are super flimsy and lightweight and tip over when the gate is down. The execution on this toy just missed the mark.

Cute but overpriced
These barricades are very cute, there are no plastic burrs as advertised and they are painted well. However, all the pictures show them standing on their own which they don't unless in a completely upright position.The plastic is very lightweight. I was able to tape it to a board and it stayed for a bit in the "down" barricade position.They do attach to Lego bases! You have to hold the base while raising & lowering the barricade or it'll come off.Overall, if these were free-standing they'd be 4 stars. The description and pictures should be clarified that they are not free-standing as it is very misleading.
