I have a teenage son, who just abouts eat any food in the pantry. except Brand name toaster pastires. I bought these just to bring along camping since his choices are more restricted and the price was awesome. My teenager, who shows so little enthusiasm for much made a point of telling me that these tasted far better than the name brand. He told me they have more filling and outside glaze and he asked me to buy him more. For this price, he can eat as many as he'd like. He'd like to see them in more flavors, if possible.

Fresh from the toaster and put on a plate, I would not be able to tell that these were not the product I've used for decades. Cherry flavor is excellent, frosting adds just enough sweetness. Filling and good with coffee, and a really excellent bargain.

These toaster pastries hit the spot when you want a quick chocolate fix. The frosting adds just the right amount of sweetness, and the filling has a nice cocoa flavor without being overly rich. They toast up nicely with a crispy edge and warm gooey center, but they’re also soft enough to eat straight out of the package if you’re in a rush.The only downside is they’re a little on the sweet side, so I can’t eat more than one at a time. The pastry itself could be flakier too — it’s a bit dense compared to some name brands.Overall though, for the price and convenience, they’re a solid pantry snack. Great with coffee or milk, and definitely a good budget alternative.

I was skeptical of how good these would compare to the name brand poptarts. These were delicious and much better than name brand. There's more flavor and more icing and it's thicker icing and has a nice crunch to it. Definitely is our family's new go-to!

These are very good! Just as good as the name brand, but way cheaper!

My kids like to have Pop Tarts for quick breakfast or treat on the go. When they saw these Amazon Grocery branded toaster pastries, they decided put these on our Subscribe & Save delivery. The price is great compared to Pop Tarts. They also ordered a box of the Fudge variety. Although these contain more sugars, they aren't cloyingly sweet. Gently heated, the overall pastry texture and amount of filling are similar. Crumbly, like Fig Newtons that are well past their guaranteed freshness date. I wouldn't attempt to enjoy these in my car, but anywhere else is okay with me.If you like Pop Tarts and are looking for better value, I do believe these are worthy alternatives and the kids totally approve. If I do have a complaint with these, I wish that these were offered in larger pack sizes.
