What I like about these especially is that they're not "too" sweet. They have a sweet taste of course because that's part of their appeal to 'kids" of all ages.I find these to make for cool 'back to youth' episodes for adults, let's say, in that they are quite the treat breaking them up in a cereal bowl then adding milk to it.Again, they aren't 'too' sweet. Wherever they are prepared, some central bakery most likely, for example the makers of Drake's Cakes, Hostess Cupcakes and possibly others, prior to 2009 when they were forced into bankruptcy were all made at the same bakery and had been since the year 1960 at least if not, and most likely even years before that time.The point is that in my opinion, they got the sugar factor, the sweetness quotient JUST right. Not too expensive either. How cool is that?I like these just fine myself should have gone without saying, but I did anyway. Unless the price gets inflated I will be consuming these fairly regularly for awhile myself.

These are the best ones out there. Just not when they are packaged in a paper bag. They got crushed but i made a no bake pie crust out of them for a chocolate cream pie. It was great! I highly recommend these. Always fresh always moist.

Nostalgic impulse item. Good texture and taste. Better than name brand. Can see why its a popular item. But doubt will buy again do to trying to reduce sugar intake. But for a moderately healthy after school snack for kids, or on the go quick grab and go breakfast replacement this would do the trick.

The pasturies have a better texture than poptarts AFTER they're cooked, tried the first one without toasting and it was super doughy. They're MUCH sweeter than poptarts or any other value brand I've tried, even the crust is sweet like cake. Not especially pleased by that. The filling is deceptively shallow, but when you bite there is plenty of flavour and are typical or comparable to poptarts. Amount of icing is fine, I think. I think they're good, but as dessert and not so much a breakfast food because of the sweetness.

These are by far the best toaster pastries that I have ever bought. Years ago I found that I prefer the "off" or "store" brands versus the name brand (not so sweet it makes your teeth ache) but have been unable to find any I like lately. Took a chance on these and I really like them. They are very fresh tasting and toast up nice and soft (which I prefer). There is lots of tasty filling...my favorite is the cherry but the strawberry and blueberry are good as well. Just ordered another box of them so hopefully will find consistency in freshness and taste.

East pastries are so super good and yummy and pretty reasonable compared to the store brand I always find generic brands better cuz I'm not paying the high price for the name brand.
