Exactly as described
Excellent dumbbell set. Easy to use. 70lbs in one compact unit. Works well. Easy to change between weights. Comfortable grip. Feels secure while in use. Much better looking than many of the other similar option out there. Great form factor. As good as it gets for the price. I have tried several other similar dumbbells, and this this set from Squatz far exceeds any of the others out there.

Other reviews had me concerned but ...
Tough to get out of the box but they work flawlessly. Grip is slightly larger around than a normal bar grip but it fits my hand better this way and it's not obscenely larger. The flat racks do come with it because it is part of the weight changing process.Weight levels are 4.5,9,18,27,35,44,53,62,70. Unbalanced lifts can be done but take a little fooling around. Feel real good and sturdy lifting, these are replacing a pair of competative brand 55lb selectables that I have had for years and I already like this feel better.

Good set of dumbbells (especially for the price), poor stand design
I like the ease of adjustment of these dumbbells, but as others have mentioned, it is difficult to get the plates to line up properly when returning them to the stand because the stand is either slightly too wide or the plastic ends flex too much. I'm probably going to experiment with adding some kind of shim to each stand to hopefully address this. The weight increments are a little strange, although they make more sense in kilos, (which, I'm guessing, is how these were designed). Look at the weight increments carefully before buying, as the weight increments could give you pause. I have a lighter set of dumbbells that I use with these on the lower end when I want to go in 5 lb increments. I've had them a month and am overall satisfied. As others have mentioned, so far you can't find comparable dumbbells of this design and weight at this low a price point. Design seems durable enough, so I'm optimistic so far.

Plastic gears failed after 6 months
Decent (adjustment gear action is stiff/rough) until the gears started crunching and then slipping after 4 months of use. End plates can fall off during use when not properly aligned. Contacted Squatz customer service, received response one month later requesting invoice/photos. Dumbbell was registered for warranty when purchased (should have had record of purchase in their database). Photos/invoice sent that same day. No further response. Two months later, the helical spur gear that translates rotational motion into the linear motion that extends the grips broke in two. Not going to wait another month for a response, followed by two additional months of silence.Squatz has poor

Good dumbbell weight
The dumbbell is fantastic; it works perfectly, and you can change the weight with a click. At first, I thought 70 lbs would be too much, but it is perfect; you can use almost full weight with lat rows. Dumbbells are a popular piece of fitness equipment that can be used for a variety of exercises to work different muscle groups in the body. They are versatile, easy to use, and can be adjusted to different weights to accommodate different fitness levels and exercise goals. The SQUATZ dumbbell weight set you described seems to have some useful features such as anti-slip metal handles and quick change weight adjustments with twist lock technology. These features can make the dumbbells more comfortable and convenient to use during workouts. When it comes to using dumbbells for full body workouts, there are many exercises you can do to target different muscle groups, such as squats, lunges, bench presses, and overhead presses. It's important to use proper form and start with lighter weights if you're new to weightlifting, to avoid injury and build strength gradually.Overall, using dumbbells can be a great way to add resistance training to your fitness routine and help you achieve your exercise goals. However, it's always a good idea to consult with a fitness professional or doctor before starting any new exercise program.

If you really want an adjustable dumbbell, be cautious
I’m a little worried about the quality of this product. It hasn’t broken yet on me, but it’s very wobbly the more weights you add, which scares me. The grip feels nice, and the size is okay. And it DOES save you space, though the weight selections are weird, idk why the company didn’t go with whole numbers.I’ll update if it does/does not break on me after more time, and lower or raise score but otherwise I think 3 stars is fair for what I have seen from it

Gets the job done at a good price
I was super on the fence about these vs the nuobells. Eventually I decided to just give it a try and do a return if I didn't like it.I see some complaints about build quality but so far after several workouts I have no complaints there. I was worried about it coming undone at certain angles but ive done chest press, shoulder press, flys, lateral raises, curls, overhead tricep extensions, tricep kickbacks, etc. And it didn't come loose during any of those.I'm sad it doesn't go to 80 but I can live with that. The only complaints I have are that it occasionally gets misaligned in the stand and I have to finnagle it to get it to change weights, the weight increments are funky and don't cover all options a normal dB set would, and lastly that sometimes the extra weights on the base tilt and I have to hold them in place to put the handle back in. Edit - realized if I make a rack to hold these and have the base at an angle, it would fix the problem of the plates not being flushAll things considered I'm super happy with my purchase and saving the money by skipping the nuobells
