Campbell’s Condensed Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup, 10.5 Ounce Can (Pack of 12)

When I feel a bit tired and don't want to spend a lot of time making lunch or dinner, this is quick to fix in the microwave and is like a little TLC when you need it most.The portion size is perfect.What I like about this soup is it ships well and heats easily in the microwave. I definitely let it sit for a full minute after heating before picking it up. Then I pour it into a bowl and eat the soup with a few crackers.This soup is comforting and great to have on hand when you need it. I'm going to get some more because it is so easy to heat and I feel like someone is taking care of me so it increases my happiness.When I make this for me and my husband I put the contents of two containers in a small saucepan and heat it up on the stovetop. Just as quick! We usually have grilled cheese sandwiches with this as that makes a good dinner.~The Rebecca ReviewP.S. I added one drained can of Swanson low sodium chicken breast to two containers of this soup and heated it all up in a saucepan! Great idea if you want to increase the protein content of your soup and also really delicious! Makes a great dinner!

Easy to use. I'm very old this is just right for me.The flavor is very good. Just the right amount of noodles.

Soup is good, however the noodles are very small in diameter and length, compared to the original chicken noodle soup recipe. I had very little chicken in my soup to my surprise. I prefer the original recipe 100%.

It's different than the standard Campbell's chicken noodle soup but not extremely different. The small chunks of carrots in the broth are a welcomed addition as is the parsley or whatever the green seasoning is floating in the broth. It does have a bit more "homestyle" taste to it. The broth also seems a little less salty tasting than to the regular chicken noodle. Although the nutrition info on the label has about the same sodium content per serving. The noodles seemed a little different as they were thinner and rounder than the regular. There was a generous amount of noodles, carrots and chicken in the can which made for a hardy bowl of soup after I added some crumbled saltine crackers. It seems like I found more dark meat chicken in this soup than I ever have the standard chicken noodle. That likely changes the flavor of the broth a little since homemade chicken soup normally uses a lot of dark meat for flavor. Overall I thought this was good chicken soup. I'd buy it again as long as it's the same price as the regular Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. I liked this soup a lot but the regular Campbell's I grew up on will always be my favorite.

Very good chicken soup.

I have always been a Chicken Noodle soup fan and I came across this Homestyle version and thought I’d give it a try. I fell in love with a soup all over again. The taste is very good and the smaller noodles are very filling. It has a different broth that is very much like a homemade taste. It’s become my favorite soup. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner meal along with your favorite crackers or sandwich. Very reasonable price for a delicious soup.
