Sturdy dog guard
I have this in my Evoque (2015) and the fit isn't perfect but does the job and the pooch now stays in the boot on car journeys. It's very sturdy and that is what made it difficult to assemble and fit so it's not a complaint but I think people may struggle to fit this if they have any sort of weakness or disability as it is a very sturdy item.Overall I would recommend this to other dog owners.

Fiddly to fit
Fits my vauxhall grandland fine and seems sturdy enough. It's very fiddly to fit though with vague instructions, I fitted it on my own but I'd say really you need two people to fit it as an extra pair of hands to support it during fitting would really help.

Fantastic item
Fitted easily and well. Feel strong and secure. Keeps my Rottweiler safely in the boot.

Not very sturdy
It’s straight forward enough but with only two screw knobs one at the bottom of each headrest it flops about a bit at the ceiling level. My dogs a husky and paws at it wanting to get past it into the back seat area from the boot so it’s simply not sturdy enough to stop him

Do not buy!!!
Very poor quality! It doesn't stay in place and it's coming apart after the slightest touch from my dog. The platic hooks don't hold in place and they keep coming off even after they've been tightened as mich as possible. The only thing they're good for is to cause a hazard !!! Stay away from this unless you want to keep hitting your dog in the head with a metal cage.

Fits Ford Focus Zetec S - 2012
I read a lot of questions (with a lot of unhelpful answers) but chose to purchase anyway. I have a Ford Focus Zetec S which was new in 2012. If fits fine to the point where my 4 month old Cocker Spaniel will not be able to jump over to the back seat any more. If I crash and the Dog comes through the guard... then I'm driving at a speed where I shouldn't have a dog in the boot in the first place! For those that asked the question will it fit my BMW xxx and got an answer "I don't know I have a Fiat 500 and it fits mine" (for example!) I can tell you that I fitted this in 15 mins from start to finish, by myself (just in case someone thinks that it's a 2 man (*Persons* lol) job, and it fits a Ford Focus Zetex S just fine. See images. It was a bit fiddly to get the screws in to the hooks but boo hoo I persevered. It was ordered and arrived the next day, I have prime. Packaging look like someone had opened it but the product was sealed.Very Happy with the purchase!

Poor quality
Owned a few versions of these over the years and this is by far the worst quality I’ve had. The metal is all bent on one of the side extensions making it dangerous. Clipping the parts together is an absolute work out - so fiddly and stiff!

Cheap and cheerful - zip ties recommended
What can I say. For £16 delivered it’s alright. Being “universal” it doesn’t quite fit into all the corners of my Focus Mk 3, but it’s close enough to stop our staffy being able to poke more than his nose through the gap.Only real negative is the mounting system is shockingly bad. Mounting arms are too long and once fully tightened the dog could pull it down by brushing against it. Fixed with some zip ties, but there is room for improvement.
