Quick and easy fix
I used this product to stop two small leaks in solder joints in my central heating pipes. It was easy to mix and use, and seems to have worked well - no leaks so far! Also, it saved me the job of draining the system to below the problem area, which I would have had to do if I'd decided to attempt to re-solder the leaking fittings. I have a combi boiler, which is a sealed system, so I drained a small amount of water from one of the radiators before starting just to relieve the pressure on the solder joints and reduce the leakage. In fact, doing this stopped the leaks altogether while I carried out the repair, but the manufacturers say the product can be applied in wet or damp conditions anyway. Make sure you clean the area thoroughly first; I used a wire brush and then gave the area a wipe with a clean cloth before applying the putty.Time will tell whether or not it's a permanent fix, but if the joints don't start leaking again I shan't be bothering to replace or re-solder them!

This product didn't work for me.Made sure I bought the correct putty for the job (adheres to copper), followed all the instructions but next day the putty was lifting at the edges and water still escaping. Put another layer on, especially round the edges, held it in place till my arms were screaming, looked OK but next morning, lifting at the edges again ☹️Ended up having to buy leak fixing tape to tape over it.Bearing in mind this was only a small leak where the pipe joined the tank.

Works a Treat - Just Follow the Instructions
This did exactly as it says on the packaging, provided you make sure to mix the two parts swiftly, evenly and carefully, once it's fully combined you literally have no more than two minutes to apply it.In my case, I used it to seal a toilet cistern leak on the inlet filling pipe.Once applied it was rock solid within 5 mins and so far is keeping everything sealed.

Works just as expected
I needed this to repair a join in a waterbutt that was impossible to keep dry and it has worked brilliantly. The putty is simple to use and easy to mix, it's very malleable without being too soft and dried quickly. The fix has stopped leaking and held firm throughout the winter in all weathers, very happy.

Plumbers putty
I bought this because I had a small leak under my toilet , I did as it said on the packet but I still had a leak after . Maybe I did something wrong . But give it dues the putty did harden up very quickly .

Didn't work
I followed all the instructions to the letter - but it did not stop the very small leak I had in a pipe to the cistern. Even though I dried the pipe and roughed the surface with sand paper it firstly refused to adhere to pipe and then, when I finally did get it to stick, it had no effect whatsoever on the leak. This from a product that is supposed to work under water!!
