Saves vacuum bags, but could better, and should be cheaper!!
This little bucket works a treat, but it does have its downfalls! The filter does need cleaning often, especially if you’re using it on a sander. Put it’s no big deal. The suction is great, and it really does keep my vacuum cleaner bags empty. The hoses are pretty pointless. The screw on heads don’t fit the hose easily, however they fit perfectly on a Henry hose. The hoses are also very stiff and I find I’m tipping the bucket often because of the lack of flexibility. I would suggests getting hold of some Henry hoses if you buy this bucket, as I said the connectors fit more easily and they are far more flexible, and also build a cabinet for the bucket and vacuum...helps a tonne!! All in all I’m very happy with the product and I intend to buy another for a router table I’m building, even though I think the price is a little high!!

Not fit for use.
Not worth it. Even if you can get the stiff hoses into the connectors, and get the lid to seal, (well nigh impossible), the filter will clog in seconds leaving you as if it wasn't there. More time buggering about with it to get it to work than actually using it.

Great bit of kit
I think people leave negative reviews because of they're expectations. The are expecting a full dust filtration system from a bucket! If you have a small workshop (like me)Then this is perfect. Hook it up to your shop vac and away you go.Very surprising performance.Zero dust from sanding and hooked up to my table saw it performed brilliantly. If you have a small workshop you cannot go wrong

Essential for Any Vacuum Extractor
An essential piece of equipment for many small woodworking workshops. For anyone currently using a small vacuum or HPLV-type dust extractor, this Dust Bucket will save you a lot of bother. It essentially stops the majority of the dust from reaching your extractor. This helps to keep the filters clean, which means you do not experience a drop in suction. It works very well and, even when you do notice the airflow drop a little as the drum begins to fill, a few thumps on top of the Dust Bucket should help to keep its filter clean. Also, the clear plastic construction allows you to see how much does is inside. How many workshop vacuums are as convenient?!You get a couple of hoses (one long, one short) supplied as standard and all the relevant connectors to set the Dust Bucket up in your workshop. I found that the longer hose wasn't quite long enough for working with some power tools in my workshop so, I may have to buy a second length and see if I can join them together... While the sole connector does fit snugly on to some of my power tools (it seems to favour the Makita brand...), on others, you will have to come up with another means to getting connected - but then, that's a common flaw found with many power tool extractors. Usually, some kind of stepped or tapered connector will solve most problems, if you don't fancy messing around with scraps of 32mm waste pipe. Some woodworkers prefer to make their own 'drop boxes' from whatever sheet materials they have lying around. But, considering the planning, time and expense that goes in to producing something heavy that may not work as well as hoped, at around £40, I believe that the Triton Dust Bucket represents very good value for money indeed.

5 stars although it needs some "tweaks" and a very cheap disposable ecological/biodegradable filter
I will give it five stars, although there are some flaws with the design and quality in some of the materials. For this price, it's not worth wasting your time in building a DIY dust collection bucket!1). One of the connectors (black with red interior) has developed a crack after a few days. Probably it had a hidden manufacturing flaw.2). The filter is becoming clogged too fast, but it has a very good filtration capacity even for fine powders. You can easily remove it and wash it with warm water. I'm working on a custom made disposable ecological/biodegradable filter (it will be very cheap!) and hopefully it will be on the market in a couple of months.3). The stability of the bucket is not the best (to say the least) if you are moving around with the tools attached. The solution for this is: a 6 quid trolley (it's called Diall Trolley/Plant Pot Mover and you can find it at B&Q) + a 3 quid Halfords Luggage Elastic.4). The price should be lower, around 30 quid and I can guarantee you that this would be called a "killer deal".5). My recommendation would be to use this dust collection bucket with a professional vacuum cleaner. You cannot go wrong with a Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum cleaner! Don't waste your money on other more expensive brands because Shop-Vac has one of the most powerful suction (for ONE motor) I've seen so far and they are honest about the Air Watts too...6). Would I choose an ULTRA PORTABLE Cyclone Dust Collection solution over this one? No, because you cannot attach a disposable filter to capture very small particles and still be able to move it around the whole day. Remember, this product was designed with mobility in mind!

It's good-looking but not that good.....
This gadget does the job well, but it was delivered with a couple of wrong connectors. Triton took a while sorting out what was a fairly simple error; to the point where I almost sent it back!My one criticism is that the filter clogs quickly when I use it with my sander. The fine particles build up too quickly, so much so that I've been forced to invest in a proper dust extractor instead. Basically, it's a very expensive bucket!
